Unacceptable for such a weak team. JB needs to move some players for picks.
- VanHockeyGuy

Sven, Sutter, Tanev all must go. They at least have some value. Hopefully Gagner, MDZ and LE too.

Load up on D.

Sign some scraps and have another poop year. This is what happens when you dont admit you need to rebuild.

We dont have the prospect depth for this patch work bullpoop.

We would have made moves but we were waiting on word to see what was happening this summer

How?

We don't have a lot to offer and there is not a lot on the farm.

- VANTEL

Drafting or getting lucky with NCAA signings is the only way out. Its not going to be pretty and the longer we wait the longer before this team is anywhere near the playoffs again.

I think Sutter's contract makes him less desirable.

I think lots of teams would take him. Many a players have left this team and had successful careers

I dont think hes worth much either but take what you can get. His role can be filled by a Gaunce or Dowd type, I expect another dreadful year.

If so he should have been moved at the deadline to free up a contract spot for NCAA and Euro free agent prospects. I honestly dont understand how they think being this poor with the ability to land one college free agent is acceptable.

An everyday player who can score 30 plus points. Compared to two guys that are fringe daily players who if they got real lucky might put up 20 points. Ill keep sutter.

The cap hit isnt good. He is basically a new age 4th line center. Where you have defensive specialist. He is a black hole on offense.

Land 3 of them. Gaudette ATO to Utica once his season ends in the frozen four.

You keep him if you are going to be making the playoffs.

How do you ever add prospects if you wont trade anyone who has value. Especially when handing out draft picks with every deal.

Gaudette will want a year burnt. So he will count this year. That puts us at 49.

I really don't think Benning and Canucks view the team the same way we do. I think they think they were a few injuries and bad bounces away from a playoff spot

Dont make anymore deals for the reclamation projects. Ala 4th for pullout.

Agree but you have to make up for all of the mistakes of the last 4 years. You cant do that without adding picks.

They are at 47. Second frozen four is also the same time as the seasons last games. I dont know how he burns a year if there isnt any games left to play.
