I really doubt that the GM's who moved 1st rounders would have been interested in the players JB had of value without NTC/NMC's... or injured players like Tanev.

That's my point I guess. When I complained about the quality of his FA signings folks said not to worry JB can just trade them at TDL or draft for picks.

For a few seasons now JB hasn't really got value from any of his FA signings that I can think of.

Depends if Benning thinks he can get his main guy. Similar to last draft when he was trying too get an extra pick from Vegas to drop 1 spot.

Hockey Prospect had EP at 5. A few had them at 7 including Bob. More then a few had him way up in the teens.

The rankings this season are much closer. Only Pronman has someone other then Dahlin, Svechnikov and Zadina in the top 3. (frank) sakes, he's a joke.

At 11 and 14. You can probably get a 45 point forward and a 25 point D man.

I'm getting sick of watching how the league officiates Leaf's games. Just like I'm sick of them answering or adjusting when Babcock and management call the league out. I'm sick how they don't get fined... just get the desired results they seek. It's like the old Bowman days.

I predict the Leaf's are going to get a lot of help to get into the 2nd round.... the next step for the league's new darling.
