Yes for sure. I'm not sure how many trades he made overall but Ehrhoff, Lapierre, Higgins, Schneider for 9th overall, were good trades. The Ballard one stands out as his worst imo.

Nonis drafting wasn't bad. He only had 4 years. It was the Gillis drafting that was pathetic. Then Gillis trading was also pathetic.

Don't forget the 9-10 NTC's that Gillis handed out that basically (one could argue) has handcuffed the team until next season. Only Sedins and Edler left to go.
