Which is a very powerful message for Aquilini.

I really didn't watch the game last night it was background noise only , but I did hear Imacs take on the Twins which was music to my ears. He doesn't think they will return next year and hearing that from him made me the happiest person in Vancouver .

Tell that to Bieksa3. He quit hockey buzz because his boy Dal Colle was a massive bust at 4

I think it was because he forgot how to spell his password to log in

My wild guess for VAN at 6th is Evan Bouchard.

Why would he get the Virtanen treatment do you expect him to be chasing skirts in every town too?

Jake does not have a head for hockey . He came into town out of shape , partied like hell and was lazy. He got what he deserved

If VAN can recoup some value, like an equivalent to a late first or early 2nd round pick, I would move Virtanen. The kid has NHL size, NHL speed, NHL shot and nothing between the ears.

I used to fear the idea he could tie it all together if they traded him, but IMO he's much closer to being a Zack Kassian than he is to being a Kreider, Neely, Bertuzzi, etc.

Lets wait it out another year. He made real good strides this year.

Kreider was 23 when he had his first good season. Jake will be 22 to start next season.

Still only 21. Kassian had other issues and was 3-4 years older when he was dealt.

It will be a whole new era. There will be many holes along the way. Someone will need to fill in the PP

I think it's time from a business perspective, fans don't come to see them anymore. Inject some youth like EP and gaudette and the building will be full and energized.

I am sure they will wait it out, but there has been nothing in his 3 years of professional hockey that suggests to me he has an ounce of hockey IQ. There was something the paper not too long ago where Jake admitted Green has told him things to do over 30 times, I am impressed the team still has patience for him as I do not

Also Krieder has always had that fiery attitude, which I think helped him. He has that other gear that I dont see in Virtanen

he is coming together right before our eyes and I believe he hits full stride at 23 or 24, there is a lot of skill there.
