Quotes not working I guess. Earlier this year, I was zeroing in on Svech. I like his offensive versatility. But you've peaked my interest in Zads. |

So when are we going to re-sign kyle Williams ?
I’m going to be pissed off if we lose him - gerbe75pts
I think Kyle is taking his time.
Pretty sure the Bills would welcome him back with welcome arms yesterday.
Especially to help Harrison Phillips adjust to the NFL
The amount of time he "put into" darius sounded like Kyle relished that mentor role. |

I can't wait to see the look on Bill Daly's face when the Oilers win the lottery by benefiting from the rule change introduced to stop the "City of Champions" from failing their way to the top once again. (frank) the oilers, (frank) the rule change your team necessitated and (frank) the NHL for instituting the lottery changes. Have a pleasant Sunday - jcragcrumple
The old format didn’t work out super well for ya either. Just sayin.
And this was the plan bro, get marginally better than true bottom Feeder right after the rule change so that we’d still be able to get dahlin even if we’re outside the bottom 5!😎
That said, if you’re interested in dealing risto
For
1st + sekera,
so u get another shot at dahlin, I’ll force chia at gun point to at least consider it ... |

Risto is not available in my opinion.
Why would the sabres trade their 2nd best player?
As soon as Edmonton trades that 1st rounder to Buffalo, it goes from #1 overall to 10th with the buffaluck factor

There was no other format for the Sabres. We never had a first overall handed to us, thanks to your repeated 1sts and squandering thereof. I hope your team gets blackballed from making trades to benefit them. Then again, you have Chiarelli, so you're doing it to yourself |

It just makes more sense to let one of the kids sink or swim
Not like we are making the playoffs next year
Pouliot isn’t part of the future here
And maybe Bailey (Smith, etc) isn’t either
But why not find out? - jdfitz77
Sure, and if the young kids fall on their face next year, you have an actual NHL’er in Pouliot that can play.
If the kids do great, waive Pouliot.
At least then we won’t have to hear about how Reinhart was saddled with players like Griffith or Wilson or whoever |

I have nothing but contempt for that franchise. They traded the best player in NHL history, and they lucked into the best player of this generation by being so historically inept that the NHL had to change the rules, which somehow benefitted them. Then they got that player, squandered the rest of their 1st overalls and still suck. To top it off, we would have crushed them in '06 for a cup win had 4 of our defensmen not gotten hurt. They are the most contemptible franchise in NHL history, and they deserve Peter Chiarelli |

Hot take but Id make a play for De Haan before Carlson in free agency.
Better chance of landing him
Probably cost less
Better defensively.

To be honest..I believe Gretzky did want a change, I could be wrong. I do think back in 06 that we did have the best team in the final four, and yes, then typical Sabres luck happened. |

No, u finished last twice, but didn’t get the lottery balls. Let’s be honest here. They did what they could to get the pick, just didn’t work out.
And you blew one of the 2nd overalls.
But yeah, chiarelli himself can do the damage to the organization. Don’t need any outside help 😢 |

I believe he may be referring to the format where you could only move up four spots and first overall had higher odds |

When we won Connor. We didn’t actually finish last. Just sayin.
But no argument that chiarelli fuked us by dealing hall for a stay at home 2nd pairing guy. That set us back a lot.
Yaks was a bust, not much one can do about him.
Nuge is a quality two way player, but certainly not what one hopes from a first. Kinda akin to reinhart I think (better than him, but yeah both aren’t anything close to franchise players)
Other than hall, wasn’t really a great time to win firsts anyway. So maybe that makes u feel abit better ?...
And yeah, outside 2010 and 11 (like your two years finishing last) the oilers didn’t actually tank. They were just awful. Which is So much worse in a lot of ways tho

Have you read anything I've said?
Seriously.
You landed McDavid because your team kept winning the lottery, so the league had to change the rules to stop you. Then you benefited from that change.

Relax man.
It’s only hockey
I’ve spent enough time obsessing and being annoyed at the incessant failures of my hockey club. Waste of time. I don’t control anything. So all I can do is laugh really.
And I fully expect a ton of vitriol if we won dahlin. And maybe it’s fair.
Either way, meh. It’ll be kinda funny too |

But we still coulda won the lottery without finishing last in 2015 had they not changed the rules. Like we did in 2012
I mean whatev man. Those early picks didn’t work out so well for us anyway. I’d be happy to go back and not be kinda forced into yaks or even nuge maybe |
