Yes. They took affect for the 2015 draft, a reduction from a 25% chance to a 20% chance, it was the 2016 draft that the top three picks were lottery driven. The major change was done as a result for all the teams going after McEichel openly.

i was all about dealing the pick at the TD to entice someone into hoping it was a first overall and paying accordingly. And I think we were in 3rd last at that point.

But now, The deals wouldn’t be made till after the lottery when we’ll know where it is.
I’d guess if edm has the first, they’d keep it.
But Any other spot I believe they should consider trading it
