Regardless of what people may think about the substance abuse policy--he also got a DUI after his first suspension, so it wasn't just pot--it exists. He knows it exists. If he wanted to get paid he simply needed to follow it. He did not. Repeatedly. There's only one person to blame for him not making big money at this point in his career.

I hope the kid has learned some personal responsibility and turns things around. He's talented and he still has a chance to capitalize on that talent. It would be nice to see him overcome these challenges and succeed.

The DUI is bad. I don't think the league should even be testing for pot though. A dude can be all pumped full of Adderall or Xanax or whatever and play football, but not pot? Plenty of guys are playing every week under the influence of prescription narcotics and other stuff.

What I'm having a hard time trying to say is: no one should ever be suspended for smoking pot, and while it is his choice to leave money on the table because of it, I think it's hypocritical that the league will ban a guy for it

Honestly, not as much as the articles are saying. The Panthers rebuilt their front 4 after Peppers left and they brought in a bunch of new guys that really turned out well. He had a couple of injuries and he was consistently double-teamed...So other guys were getting the sacks and tackles.

They need to get an athletic MLB to play behind him, this dude eats blocks up for breakfast lunch and dinner.

With Kyle being back and now Star the Bills are filing holes. They will need to draft a guy in the 4th or 5th round (Kyle Williams part deux) but it doesn't have to be a high round pick

It’s so us to let someone like Beane leave.

He’s only ended Buffalo’s long playoff drought, got rid of some fat and has built up a nice haul of picks to go get him a franchise QB.
