That's probably close to what JVR will get on the open market. We've been speculating in the TO thread he'll probably get something between 6 and 7.

He's a good player. I'd love to keep him, but not sure how we'd be able to manage that once we need to give raises to Matthews and Marner in 2 years.

I think it would be unwise for cleveland, the giants, the broncos, and the jets to not take a qb if one of the 4 is still there. I think the colts pick is where we need to get to.

They could go Barkley or Chubb thus causing the NYG and/or Colts having bidding wars for 2 and 3.

I still think it's smart to go Barkley at 1 and hope for Allen to be there at 4.

I'm still of the opinion the Bills need to get to 2 in order to get their guy.

If he retires then i really dont see a need to buy out bogo. We dont need the cap space next year. Wouldnt surprise me if someone takes moulson off our hands, his salary next year is 3M, retain half and it would only cost a team 1.5M and count 5M against their cap.

Bogo's injury prevents a buyout this year. Odds are Moulson does get bought out. Easiest way for everyone involved to move on.

I didnt mention him retiring, i just replied to his comment about it. After two consecutive concussions and a new baby at home, who really knows?

Remember when Reggie Bush would've went #1 except he couldn't agree to a contract with the Texans so they drafted Mario instead? Bush looked superhuman in college and the most meh player in the NFL.

Drafting a RB #1 is not smart. especially when you need a QB desperately.

Yeah, I don't really disagree with you. I really don't see how we can keep him. Good player though. Having a really nice year right before hitting free agency, so he's gonna get a nice fat contract from someone most likely.

Ive always had the belief that rb is the most plug and play position in football. I was sick when we took mcgahee, lynch, and spiller in the first round year after year.
