I am a little worried abotu svech and the russian factor. but elite russians usually never (frank) over NHL teams. They kid could be in the KHL making a poop ton more money than he does in the CHL but came over here anyways. |

No, I think he will be an ideal 3rd liner with a package you can't just go and get in UFA. Speed, physicality, not bad defensively and will be able to pot 15-20 a year. |

Why is Boqvist rated so high. I havent yet seen anythimg that interests me. |

You do know third liners you can find anywhere. Can he crack the top 6

The general consensus on him on this site seems to be that he’s on track to become that type of a player.
To me, that’s his best case scenario and not necessarily his most likely one.
15-20 goals per year with 3rd line mins + limited/no PP time is elite 3rd line production.
I’d feel safer pegging him a tier below. 10-15 goals per year on the 3rd line. As his most likely future, not his ceiling or floor. |

I think he could be a guy that can slip up and down the line-up.
Third liners with his skill set don't grow on trees though. How many of them have his mix of speed and physicality while still being defensively responsible? he will also be well cost controlled. a 2 year bridge deal this off season and then a 4-5 year deal after for a low cap hit(unless he really puts it together and has a stellar 2 seasons). I would not trade him. We have other players that need to be traded first and as priorities. We will not move more than 3 forwards this off season, and likely only 1 or 2. |

I think 20g would be a career high MAYBE 1 season and will probably be around 15g most of his playing days. Over time he will actually play with some real talent, Once Gauette hits his prime as our 3c. It is too early to trade the kid when we should send LE to MTL ASAP, trade Gagner for w/e and trade one of Granlund or Baerschi. |

My Brother had 2 shoulder surgeries.
If it's 6 months, it is pretty serious, and not an arthroscopic fix. - classic321
Shoulders are easy as long as you identify the problem they can be rehabed back to 100 percent, 100 percent of the time. I've seen lots of them. |

true, if you can upgrade a top 6 role and they want him in the deal and it is a big upgrade you do it, but you don't trade him for a pick or prospect for the sake of getting it. |

I can agree with this, unless someone is overpaying and offering a pretty good prospect or pick(highly unlikely).
Would love to know how people here value guys like Lind/Dahlen vs Virtanen. Say due to some weird ass expansion draft rule, you have to give one up this summer to Seattle who somehow got a team in place by the 19/20 season.

100%. He will be a useful player but expecting 20 goals is very unlikely |

Doesn't look like we got any help in the game results tonight. There's still hope The Zonas could salvage a point or two. Down a goal in the 3rd... |

Virtanen. Dahlen looks like he has a real shot at a top 6 scorer. Lind looks like he will be better than JV but not as physical, but a real poop disturber. Luckily both will not be eligible as in 2020 they will both have had 2 or less years and Lind would fall under the U20 rule that protected Nylander.
I expect the expansion rules will be the exact same. I think the league will crack down on the trades though. |

I think he will get a 20g(or near with 18 or 19) goal season in him at least once, but will likely be a 15g guy when we have a competitive team. Teach him to PK and he could be a huge threat there with the speed. |

Yeah, no expansion draft is going to force you to give up prospects lol. I asked because I wonder how our fans value guys like Virtanen and Stetcher versus prospects.
Naturally, we like the guys who still have more developing to do and more untapped potential. That’s why I prefer not to trade picks for other team’s prospects. |
