Yeah, no expansion draft is going to force you to give up prospects lol. I asked because I wonder how our fans value guys like Virtanen and Stetcher versus prospects.
Naturally, we like the guys who still have more developing to do and more untapped potential. That’s why I prefer not to trade picks for other team’s prospects. - Nucker101
Same, but I understand why Benning did. We had Horvat and then a bunch of 30 year olds pretty much on the team in 2014. a couple mid-late 20's but we had an old team and a gap to fill. I think Sven could get us as much or more than we paid for him right now. |

Sven is really the only one who worked out. The guys that they could have drafted in 2014/2015/2016 would be potentially pushing for roster spots next year so really they made those deals to help the Sedins/Edler more than Horvat. Same with Eriksson, that move was made to find someone to play with the Sedins.
Catering to the wrong players. |

Granlund is a NHL player
We have Boeser Bo Jv Sutter Sven Granlund Gaunce Archie who are NHL ready
You have Lipstic Gaudette Pettersson Motte who are maybes? You have this years pick .
I don't know why people are afraid of losing a year or two . I think we are closer to Colorado than we are to the Oilers.
No need to bring back slow old players. It will be bad for a year or two deal with it |

Not sure what this has to do with the post you quoted, but I agree with moving on from the Sedins. |

Move or waive Eriksson 1 -3 mil savings
Sedins walk 14 mil savings
Nilsson waive 1 mil savings
Bring in AG and EP 2 mil combined .
When Henrik started he ha 9 goals 20 assists
Daniel had 20 goals 14 assists
These kids deserve the same chance . That is why you have Bo and Sutter

Watched the "How its Made" Episode on hot dogs 10 years ago. Havent touched one since. - vancity787
lol...ya a lot of them are massed produced with lips, bumholes, beaks snouts you name it.
I buy my all beef hot dogs and smokies from my local butcher shop so I know they are made properly locally and not massed produced like some of the garbage.
If you know what you're buying they're fine. |

Take out the lips and a$$holes and you have a McDonalds Shake.
- boonerbuck
lol I like how in the movie 'The Founder' about the McDonalds empire they showed how they were using 'instal-mix' in the milkshakes of the past. They were actually caught using a potato like powder substance in their shakes at one time for a thickening agent. Subway was caught using yoga mat plastic or something in their bread...on and on and on in the fast food industry... |

Virtanen is trade bait - VANTEL
I'd say give Virtanen a solid shot to prove his worth with big minutes with the Sedins gone. Hopefully next year. |

So, is Zadina, 192 or 193?
6 1 or 5 11 . Very important on determining whether he will be be a 39 goal scorer for us.
If only 5 11 he is will be a 50 goal guy for others.😁

Also, 54 points in 61 games is not 1.05 ppg its .89. Canucks already have a guy like that with the Calgary Hitmen they could sign for free |
