They need maximum ice time. Let them make all the mistakes now and not end up with reduced ice time or other demotions. Now is the time to learn; it’s not like they are going to cost the hawks a playoff spot.

if Q and Bowman are still here, and i unfortunately think they will be, i'd expect more of the same. And if Crawford is either less than he's been or worse yet, done, then i believe next season potentially could be even more difficult. Not to pin it all on one thing , but the decline began in earnest when Crow went down.

Every defense-man besides Keith is simply not very good. Seabrook has been OK lately but jeez their whole defense needs to be re-created before they ever sniff the playoffs again. Murphy is so meh.

Hawks have gotten there 16 times in those 37.
