Nick schmaltz should play ringette. He doesn't have the required equipment between his legs to be considered for men's hockey. I've never seen a more scared of contact player since TT.

Considering the World Championships occur during the NHL Playoffs, I don't think that means a whole lot. Murphy is a freaking slug, brings no offense, and is a 3rd pair NHL defender IMO.

Murphy will have a tough time today in his D-Zone as playing without partner as 82 white is on the ice with him.

I do not blame Hayden for not hitting like he was earlier in the season when he had some support on his line. He is probably smart enough to know that as this team is comprised right now that if he lays a good hit on someone, he will have to fight 3 guys (at the same time).

Murphy has been fine today. He isn't flashy but the mistakes are more with his partner. Glad to see he is shooting more and jumping up when the chance in there.

So would you try to trade him for a young defenceman about equally advanced and developed in his career. Those ping pong balls favorable to us get us close #5, perhaps we could trade two #1's for right to snag Tzchuck. Tzchuck with DeBrincat and Sikura is the building blocks aroubd Kane. Add Hayden. SAAD crashing net. Maybe Shulanov but might have to wait one year. I dk how the new smallish German league signee fits in. But even Bowmsn knows csnnot have a team full if smurfs. Unless he thinks Edjgell is enough.

He was pretty physical in his first couple games when called up. Maybe not credited with a lot of hits, but protecting the puck and pushing some guys around.
