I think you need to look at how many NFL QB's that were in the Pac-12 it's about half
- gerbe75pts

how many were in the playoffs last year?

and if you think about it, the big-10 has had more of an impact lately than any other conference...in addition to brady (Mich) there's drew brees (Purdue) and Russell Wilson (Wisconsin)

I mean there is some argument that he doesn't have the hardware but he's top 15 in all the QB categories
I think he's on the borderline of making it

and rodgers wouldn't have turned out so well if wasn't able to work on his flaws when he came out of college for a couple of seasons. he may have still be good but not at this level. there were a lot of questions regarding him coming out of Cal.
- Gramps28

He was always the best QB in that draft. They did a televised QB skills competition thing before the draft and Rodgers wiped the floor with Smith and Campbell. And they were all trying really hard.

it isn't half. its like 4-5 depending whether you count A smith from Utah which wasn't in the pac 12 when he went there. can't really count luck but i will even give that one.

The ponit is its better to draft the more successful League you have a better chance at a quarterback that is successful at the next level

different game these days. being top 15 isn't all that impressive in reality.

Do you guys think when the Jets made the offer did the Colts call the bills to say hey did you want to counter this?

Or is that not common courtesy anymore

That's true .. I still say if he didn't get injured back in the day in Cincinnati he might have been a more polished quarterback

Oh well

If we drafted someone like him I would be (frank)ing happy

not stating that. that draft wasn't all that hot for QBs. he did have a lot of questions when he came out of Cal. Wouldn't have lasted to 24 if he didn't.

we've just been pointing out that the pac-12 doesn't have a monopoly on success in the nfl...brady, big ben, brees, Russell Wilson, matt ryan, cam newton, carson wentz, dak Prescott, are just a few of the many recent qb's outside the pac-12 who've had success

I thought we were talking about the big 12 about Mason Rudolph I was making my point that is not a very successful League to find a quarterback..

with the sabres win and the yotes loss, Arizona is back at the bottom of the league...nucks down 4-3 and have done everything but put the puck over the goal line the past five minutes
