Balance helps
When u have good guys who can play more than 13min...
then ROR and others don’t need to be overplayed

Look at Vegas (specifically their defense)

- jdfitz77

at that point, you also wouldn't need guys like ROR at 7.5 mil period. Because you'd have a competent D in front of the net minder. Thats part of my push for moving him.

Right now he seems worth the paycheque cause he's doing everything. If he was deployed like an actual #2C who's defensive abilities weren't called on as often, what's his value to your team then? and what is it relative to his cap hit? 4.5/7.5 mil?

So your saying we should ignore QB again?
- Fattony1187

No the goal was Rosen , Mayfield, Sam
We failed right now currently

Those other guys are just JP losman, EJ Manuel's, Jake lockers , Tyrod Taylor's

During that power play, saw Eichel do a quick stop and kind of wince. @pham1717 saw him limp back to the bench in pain. He's still there at least.

Sit him the rest of the year

how many qb's were not picked in the top 10, vs picked in the top 10?

You have a better chance to win with a great qb

You have a better chance to draft a great qb in the top10

GM's are stupid says the people that question the Rams and the Eagles..

2 QB's that Scouts didn't even have as the first and second overall pick the only reason why is because both needed QBS

Thanks

How do I not get that?

Win every battle you can, sure.

That doesn’t mean it has ANY effect on us winning games over the course of the season.

- sbroads24

Well we suck at so many other aspects that of course nothing we do well is gonna consistently result in wins

All those battles u win add up
They aren’t as insignificant as u make them seem
A stat doesn’t only matter when it produces the desired result

A shot doesn’t always lead to a goal either.
Heck, over the long run it’s less than 10%
That doesn’t mean i don’t want us to shoot
Bc it matters
Not ALL the time... but sometimes
Just like faceoffs matter, sometimes
And even when they don’t,
at least we aren’t wasting energy chasing the puck around the ice

Put on some skates & tell me it doesn’t make a difference in the 3rd when u win an offensive zone faceoff
I assure you, it helps...
even if u don’t get the result u want

I think he's a pretty good player, and i think if there were stats that better measured individual defensive abilities/contributions he'd probably come out looking good.
