I just can't believe the jets (frank)ed us ..
I was thinking theres no way the bills can (frank) this pick
up you have Mayfield ,Sam, Rosen win-win situation
Ugh - gerbe75pts
No the goal was Rosen , Mayfield, Sam
We failed right now currently
Those other guys are just JP losman, EJ Manuel's, Jake lockers , Tyrod Taylor's - gerbe75pts
Let's go on that 5 game winning streak so we can (frank) up the draft - gerbe75pts
This. This is why I come by. |

Eichel’s role and salary match up.
O’Reilly’s does now, but not down the road.
O’Reilly is not good enough offensively to be your second best forward.
They need another high skilled guy who’s capable of 65-70 points. That’s not ROR
If they do get deeper, and O’Reilly’s role decreases, then your paying top 30 $$ for a guy who’s not even on your top line - sbroads24
Still to be determined
I have doubts that his role would drop to the point where he’s scoring 40pts
And for the record...
i have said I’m open to trading O’Reilly
But if we do it now,
That’s A LOT to ask of Mittelstadt
Ppl act like he’s gonna step right in & produce like Barzal RIGHT AWAY
He might not
And if that’s the case, we’d be screwed
I don’t think RORs value will drop if we hang onto him for another year or 2 |

I’m just asking, don’t know. How many #2 centers have more points then O’reilly. I would think he’s right in the mix for #2 centers in the league. That’s what, center 30-60?
Someone said on here he’s the #27th scoring center. How is that not scoring enough for a #2. Seems like he’s actually an above avg scorer for his position. Also plays at least above average defense. Not elite but is solid.
He is not the issue. Plus his salary at end of contract will prob be avg for a #2 center. |

I’ve stayed on the Baptiste & Bailey bandwagon all along
(Maybe I’m up to 3% Boss?)
A lot still to be determined...
but I’m still thinking they can both be decent players for us
Baptiste in particular should at least get a shot with Jack before we pidgin-hole (sp?) him as a 4th liner |

Baptiste would 100% get 20g a year playing with Jack. Sign a 3rd line center (Desharnais?) To play with Okposo |

I don’t think he’s a problem. I think he’s over rated. Still a good player.
Problem with labeling him a 2c is the fact that his ice time says franchise center, and his 5 on 5 production says average 3rd liner.
He has the same amount of 5 on 5 points as
Jared Spurgeon
Max Domi
Sven Baertchi
Jake Muzzin
Brian Gibbons
He’s 12th among centers in 5 on 5 ice time. And trails his peers in 5 on 5 points by a wide margin
Most of the players around him in terms of ice time, double his production |

Our whole team sucks 5v5
Lots of guys would have worse numbers if they were here instead of Tampa, Winnipeg, etc
As our team gets better,
a lot of these numbers u focus on will improve as well |

I think they will get better. But it shows he doesn’t create offense on his own. Which for that $, he should.
I think he’s a good player, but when this team gets more dynamic and skilled, I think he will be pushed off PP1, and probably see a dip in his points |

It's not "Patrick" either. Paddy is short for Padraig.

That's why it's called the paddy wagon.
So paddy wagon is a racist term - best not to use it anymore.
Kinda like if someone ripped you off - don't use the term gypped - it's a negative connotation to Gypsies - which of course you aren't allowed to say anymore - it's Roma.
Which is why I mostly just drink alone - no fear of offending anyone.
Except my neighbours when I pee in my backyard. - Atomic Wedgie
I feel like the Bills really got roma‘d by that Jets trade. |

So when that happens 2-3 years down the line, he'll get 0 pp points on PP2? What about getting him better wingers to make up for that 5-on-5? What about scaling his minutes back so he isn't overextended?
There are many positives to him playing less |

No but he won’t even hit 25 5 on 5 points being used as a #1 Center.
It’s not a worry now, but I think there’s an opportunity to sell him at a high point now and get a younger asset |

You're purposefully using 5-on-5 instead of even-strength points, which, fine, but there is approximately a 0% chance that a player you get back is as good as him. The PA just voted him a top-5 underrated player. Thankfully, JBJB seems to agree. I don't think he moves |

He’s 49th among centers in even strength points, despite being 12th in ice time.
