It matters a lot within a team environment. - Marwood
Ah. So you do care about mentorship.
Got it. |

Is that the one where they find out he's a 5'1 42 year old grandmother? - A_SteamingLombardi
Pretty much.
His coach Dale Hawerchuk speaks pretty highly of him. |

I think this comparison fails, Gagner isn’t close to 50 points, isn’t a PP expert and isn’t a very good player overall.
I think everyone should wrap the minds around the Sedins returning, and I will wrap my mind around another 18 months of complaining about them. - Makita
I wouldn't worry about the complaining , if they return no one will be watching

I'm not sure if you have watched the games this year but the Sedin's aren't overall very good players either.
Who knows how many points Gagner would have on the power play. He has 80 minutes less PP time then the Sedin's. A little over half as much. Also has half the amount of points of either of them. He doesn't get to play power play with Horvat or Boeser. Considering Gagner plays on the second unit. Normally, he probably doesn't get to start in the Ozone.
Who knows what Gagner is capable of, the Sedin's are in the way. - manvanfan
Yes I have watched almost all of the games, yes the Sedins are not what the were when they put up 100pt seasons each, but they are still 4 times the players Gagner even wishes to be.
So Gagner has 25pts, a little over half as much as one Sedin, and all the BS about zone starts and playing with Boeser is overblown, Sedins produce 5v5 as well as everyone else on this team of underachieving misfits.
The whole concept that the Sedins are holding back the Canucks is laughable at best, I would absolutely love to see them retire, but to place the teams bad fortunes on them is absolutely asinine. |

Whether they return or not, will be of very little importance, once we have a new foundation.
The leadership will have changed significantly, most of the current players will be long gone and they will be a distant memory.
I think most here want to see a different direction, as opposed to a stagnant & stale one.
I doubt very few of the fans even listen to them when they do an interview.
Just my opinion which may be tainted as i have never liked them. - Reubenkincade

Yes it's not the sedins and it never was. I am okay either way on retirement. |

Where did you get the entire team? I said Gagner. Way to make a mountain out of a mole hill.
BTW Gagner had more and as many points as the Sedin's last season. |

I also referenced Gagner, but believe it not, generalized statements on a public blog sometimes have a broader meaning for all reading.

Wow bud. You are searching for something that you probably won't find on a public blog. |

Utica lost again. May not even be a playoffs for them. At least Brisebois and Molino got points. |

It so did. Doesn't help they don't have Goldy or Boucher anymore. Or Archibald. Cassels, MacEwen, Molino, a bunch of young players, worn down a bit probably. |
