not really, if they want to get to pick 2, they can
now they know the price - homiedclown
The only way they get pick 2 is if the browns take the RB withthe pick
Jets moving up scaring the Browns so the QB goes first overall now
It’s over for 1-3 IMO
We need 4 |

But they get 2 first and 2 2nds How can you pass on that - gerbe75pts
I believe we’re moving up still. I would and Beane thinks like me. Archive doesn’t lie. Also, Rosen is the dude. |

'impact players'...they've done a lot of trading down over the years and passed on qb's and wr's (wentz and julio jones to name a couple) while collecting picks....as you can see, it really hasn't gotten them very far - Michael Pachla
That’s because they have not addressed the most important position in NFL and they’re going to do that with the first overall pick now
So that makes the trade down easier for them to gather up talent
Plus they don’t have a moron general manager now |

I’m gonna really be bummed if we don’t get Rosen
And end up with big 12 mason
It feels like Rogers is slipping out of our hands |

the browns went 1-31 over the last two seasons...they need more than a franchise qb |

Then Jake Locker should have been the first pick when he decided to go back to school for his senior year. - Stripes77
Leinart too, but he does have a point. |

why, so we get the qb the browns and jets pass on?
again, they need to target which qb they want, and have a plan B
pretty sure they will be going with plan B, which you will not like |

If they can’t move up, I will hope for the best, but Rudolph is about the only one I’ll be upset about. Threw to receivers with most separation in history of College football. Folded like a lawn chair in games under pressure.
The Dude was under duress the entire season with nowhere near the talent around him and performed admirably. Then you see him throw at the combine and he etched it in stone. |

nah...he needs to get acclimated to the amerks...he'll get his shot at camp in the summer
edit: plus, I think they only have a total of four call-ups after the trade deadline - Michael Pachla
That's right 4 recalls, not including emergency recalls. Very confusing this time of year, since the transactions don't distinguish between the two. |

agreed it's apples and oranges, but 12 is a long way from 2....and 2 can go a long way to helping any team where as 12 probably won't. |

that too...I believe someone mentioned ullmark was an emergency recall but id didn't see anything official about that |

which is why I question whether the giants would even move that low

I mean...as a Jets fan I'm happy as can be right now...
But why don't the Bills just stay at 15 and pick up Mason Rudolph or Lamar Jackson (if he's still there).
Either one are good projects to develop behind McCarron |

Only one i could think of is if they felt that the top 5 couldn't give them the impact they were looking for and decided they're better off with a haul of picks. |

true...am not sure why everyone's ruling out them taking a qb...manning is pretty old and having a franchise qb under him for a couple years seems ideal to me
