nothing, just the impending posts about this being over shadowed by his terrible season, which is true, just that I still think it's premature.

Everyone's development curve is a little different. Im not sure what his issue is that's affecting his consistency (beyond the injuries of course) but at 19/20 years old there's still a window to tackle it and carve out a good career.

i mean, he's probably going to finish the year with a significantly higher PPG than last year, so it is going in the right direction. Just not nearly at the pace or consistency you'd want from the 8th overall pick.

yup...agreed

will be a nice litmus test for how this group of coaches, and the organization in general, is at developing players

I would never close the door on someone that skilled turning it aroubd at 20, but Gerbe acting like he hasn’t been bad and it’s just an injury is disingenuous

Didn't ullmark's wife just have a baby? Maybe that threw a wrench in the plan to start him.

Maybe they want to see if Johansson is ready to take ullmarks spot in Rochester next year? How else can you see if he's ready?
