My birth certificate was issued 14 years after I was born and has a different name than I was given at birth. - A_SteamingLombardi
I'm pretty sure that we still take birth certificates as evidence of date of birth despite your particular case. There can be mistakes, but there needs to be evidence a mistake has been made. |

I posted that link. It has since been removed from the site that published it.

The fact that he lives in Canada and has documentation that hasn't been proven false is the thing that has to be disproven, you are not doing that with your little dog and pony show. As much as I like dog and pony shows, referring to this message board is not reliable (to say the least). - neem55
you do know that is how this site works right?

Joe Voleno continues to slide down Button's board despite tearing the Q a new bumhole. Thoughts? |

Except the 2 of the top5 players in the league and three out the top5 players to ever play the game. Don't worry, I'm good at finishing sentences. |

Not sure how Lemieux, Crosby, MacKinnon, Hischier ever made it coming from the garbage QMJHL. |

Here's a fun exercise: who are the greatest goalies of all time, but no using ones that played in the Q.

This is very very true. This is why Button doesn't have an NHL job somewhere. He's trying to be the next Pronman. Make as many wild picks as possible in hopes that a single one turns out to be right. - manvanfan
Bob collects opinions from a number of scouts and does not do actual scouting or at least not a lot of it. Buttons goes to all the games. As he said today he has seen Evan Bouchard play over 50 times.
There is a difference of one mans opinion and a group of top scouts collective opinion. |

Are not as good as Roy, I agree. Although an argument can be made for Hasek, Roy changed the game forever both with how good he was and his style. |

And that difference is the community of professionals opinion is much more reliable as, much like the scientific community, it is peer reviewed. |

No one is debating Bob's Mob is better than Button's Mutton , I am just pointing out 15 against 1 usually will win |

I was graspung at straws.
Roy and Marty Brodeur rank very close together. I was a big fan of Devils system back in there day. |

I'm on the side of 15.
I am sort of like Bob, I take the idea of many and put it into my own. Button and Pronman have a few outrageous picks but some of them will probably come true. Try to figure out which ones will be true is difficult.
I just like to figure out the "tiers" who's in the tiers and then pick the BPA available in that tier depending on a teams needs.
According to others.
Tier 1- Dahlin
Tier 2- Zadina, Svechnikov
Tier 3- Tkachuk, Boqvist, Walhstrom
Tier 4- Hughes, Bouchard, Dobson, Wilde
pick 10-20 is almost almost interchangeable in most drafts, Same with 20-30

For sure. I didn't mention Broduer because I think he's 2 at best, debatable 3 depending how much you consider Hasek's ability and lesser team(for me it's Hasek, all things considered). For me, Roy did it with two totally different teams multiple times and reinvented the position. Broduer was so good, but played on the ultimate deadpuck team and ultimately just didn't win as much as Roy and had a way better supporting staff than Hasek until he played in Detroit.
Queue people saying old goalies are somehow better

I respect Button for watching hundreds of games and traveling to scout all of these players. Bob does nothing except pick up the phone. Sure, Bob's list is more accurate but I generally respect Button's lists....except for Tkachuk at 2 |

My birth certificate was issued 14 years after I was born and has a different name than I was given at birth. - A_SteamingLombardi
I went to school under my fathers last name even though my birth certificate had my mother's maiden name. Now if the police run my name, they accuse me of using an alias because of records from my youth that never had been updated. They have threatened to charge me for providing a false name regardless of my DL being under my proper birth name. It was an assumption the cops made in the 80's not me misleading them and 35 years later their mistake is still a pain in my ass.
