i think the hawks have had some quality chances both on the pp and 5 on 5...but as you say hawks shot selection not so good

Could be a HUGE get to rekindle this team. Perhaps could get high enough to trade up to get the D-man...Hawks need a D, badly....BADLY. They need a goalie too, but not with the top 5 pick.

I don’t like to see Kane skate in on the PP and take a slap shot. It takes too long to set up,loses the element of quickness and allows the D to get better set to block it. Prefer his quick wristlets that are more difficult to judge.

Look at the teams Yzerman has assembled in Tampa, as well. Look at the Dmen that HOF forwards Steve Yzerman and Joe Sakic have put together....LOTS of size and physicality...Boston minus Krug has some massive defenseman as well. Murphy is such a poor skater, what you see this year is what you get unless that foot speed magically improves.
