I really think the Hawks are looking at 7th overall pick. Really wanted them to get to 5, but not sure it can happen. - kwolf68
Would you offer both #1 for the #3 overall. I would. For the 4th overall. Not sure on that |

Depends on who is there. They need to try to get Dahlin....this defense is total poop. But they make up for it by having total poop in net. |

i might...however hockey trades like that are very rare...you get a top 3 or 4...you keep it
alot would depend on who wins the lottery and what those teams drafting earlier see as their needs |

An article from the Tribune a while back..."Sometimes taking a break from the equipment and letting the skin heal is best," Derick said. "If you can completely avoid it, it should get better." So a year off from hockey might do the trick? Like, there hasn't been confirmation that Hossa will retire right? - SoftServe
Report earlier in season said that he was starting to really like the home family life and not miss hockey so much. Not a lot of excitemrnt to return to this lineup, eh? |

Keith once again with the giant windup--and the cheapshot - Mrwirtz
10 seconds left and that guy had his head down for 6 strides. Keep your head up is what I'm sure Keith was yelling. At least 2 is still a positive impact player most nights. Keith is the only really good Dman of the 6. |

The Toews line decimated the MacKinnon line in possession. Saad-Toews-Kane with 61+, 61+, 64+ CF%, respectively.
something to about... |

Ive been down on the team and have said little about the tending, but HOLY poop...it's EVERY stinking game one of these turds give up a goal a Junior B kid could stop.
Get rid of them both.

Yeah i don't expect it. If the second #1 was middle of round one, the trading partner might think about bartering.
Note: i can't get this idea out of mind whether this big Swedish kid cometh over from Nashville is going to be like an Edsel. Immediately checked to see exactly the nature of those old late '50's cars. Big plodding shiny Edsels, i guessed. Sort of correct
More to the point the build was a selling point of having all the bells and whistles, like you could own the nicest, fanciest car. Well compared to nowadays any Edsel was a plodding slow shiny huge just big car. So let's hope the kid is better than Jimmy Hayes. His brother too. |

Man, total team effort on the loss. The team had chances but just fail to complete the last 10-15% of the play to actually beat the goalie. Lots of shots for DeBrincat, Schmaltz, Kane all with 5+ each. Hayden credited with 6 hits in his 12 minutes. Surprisingly next was Oesterle credited with 5 hits and Gus with 4. |

@2ndCityHockey
The Hawks PK has regressed quite heavily over the last month or so. Opponents have converted on 12 of last 27 chances (44.4 percent) including the Avs' 2-for-2 so far tonight.
and the pk has jumped into the dumpster fire |

Recall hearing that Magic Johnson sent passes equipped with handles!
To all the infuriated hot heads steaming over Bowman's smurf collection.
Kane with DeBrincat + Martinsen= well Colorado didn't want to keep him |

now that is one helluva line from a coach who's team has gone 7-15-2 since 2/1 rarely coming close to playing the right way... |

Anybody know what's up with Eddie-O? Been missing for several broadcasts now. Thought he was done with his treatments and he was supposed to finish out the year in the broadcast booth?? Sincerely hope he's ok. - BobP.
IIRC, he said he wouldn't know until the first week of April, at his next test/scan whether the treatments had the desired effect. Maybe he's working the ponies or other NHL games. |

Was there tonight and you could see Forsberg visibly deflate and lose his focus/confidence after that first goal. He doesn't (yet?) have the ability shake it off and get that laser focus back like is easy to see with Crawford. |

Kane: "Who knows what’s going to happen? I’m sure that will be kind of left up to management and coaches and us as players, obviously, throughout the offseason, to rectify what went wrong this season and make sure it doesn’t happen again."
Patrick Kane said the Blackhawks "absolutely" can turn it around next season. "If anything, it’s kind of humbled a lot of us in here, and it could be a good thing. Come back with a little bit more of an edge next season."
Kane on the last eight games of the season: "We’re playing in the NHL, we’re playing for the Chicago Blackhawks, we’re playing in front of 21,000 fans every night. That’s enough motivation right there." |

You'll be playing in front of 21,000 fans who want to see Bradley Tkachuk in a Blackhwak uniform next year, so consider that. |

The Toews line was -2 each at 5x5 - on the ice for one PP goal. |
