Makes you go hmm, again and again.
6'3"
only 180 lbs
not likely to put much more weight on at age 22
Another (likely) non-physical Euro
David Rundblad III (or is it IV?)
Gustafsson is II (ol Stan doubled down on him already)
Rutta is III (and again, Stan tripled down on him with an even-bigger contract)
Hey McDonut, you need a new GM.
Fire Stan Blowman. - savvyone-1
Never saw him play, can't even pronounce his name. Lidstrom wasn't the most physical guy in the world. Before I fire on this kid I have to see him play and give him a chance. |

Another lefty. What this means, is someone like this has roughly the equivalent of AHL experience and could be ready for nhl look within a year. So Stan may be trading his excesd of current NHL third pair/depth ceiling dmen for draft choice.
With Tuulola we need to see if he williingly engages more physically than the current bunch. - jhawk59
The only way this team goes back to a physical style is having a new HC behind that bench. |

I know you will want to hear a slightly drunk Pat Foley call his name. Even a little push back or physical battle is better than none. The listed size means little; it is ehat is in his mind and his desire to have even a little edge. Thise veteran Icehog dmen shoukd be miving slong..

A new head coach is needed irregardless of Samuelson the coach continuance. Better communication, press box over one mistake, can be tolerated. Both Samuelson - coach and his kid in ahl known for toughness. I think you give them a player with willingness to administer a mean elbow or stick into body along boards.
Anyway, Q has grown stale. See if he will finish contract doing scouting. |

We'll be lucky if this guy is half as good as Rundblad. Stan makes a wasted draft pick even worse by signing him to a wasted contract. This guy will end up in Indy before we know it. |

Why should that stop you from declaring him a #Blowmanfail before setting foot on NA ice? Hardly a deterrent for others. |

ALSO. The case for Sikura not to sign with the Penguins -- by and buy the nunbers. And his role. Break down the roster and decide for yourself. See second blog page 18. - jhawk59
Other than burning the first year of his ELC why would Sikura want to be part of this dumpster fire? If Northeastern goes deep into the playoffs then this one and only benefit to signing with the Hawks is gone. Pittsburgh is still the most likely destination for Sikura, but if that doesn't work he'll end up in New York (Rangers) or Washington. Hell, even teams like Vegas, Arizona or Dallas would be more attractive options than Chicago. |

The one positive we have is that his brother signed a one year deal with us. |

I checked several sites that have Tuuola's height and weight all over the map. I think that they come from different times during his development years. We will know after our first eye test. |

Maybe his brother and him hate each other. And maybe not, but I still agree with Darth. |

Read my blog entry second from top of page 18. Pittsburgh is not ideal. They need to make a couple of moves. There are some good forwards here. Add a tough forward or a dman at draft. A hockey trade could be a swap of rising young players. |

I think Dylan will look out for his own best interests (which his family would want). This is a business for these guys and Dylan has the opportunity to control his destiny, why would he pass that up? He could sign here then his brother is released after one season. Dylan will want to set himself up to be in the best position for long-term success in his NHL career. Sadly for us that is not in Chicago. |

Defenseman Joni Tuulola has signed an entry-level contract with the Blackhawks, according to a source - DarthKane
More Euro fluff? Where are all the good, hard-nosed Canadian boys? Although he is a Finn and they tend to have a screw loose, just ask the Russians. |

Ok, (frank) him, he sucks. |

We have a huge opportunity to gain Tank points tonight if we could just lose in regulation time to the Canucks. Several of our competitors are playing with about half of those in home rinks. The big one (hopefully a 3 pointer) will be Edmonton at Ottawa. |

You know maybe even dumb luck Bowman will get one right.
Substitute "one" in the song "Two out of three ain't bad."
My typing on a phone, that is bad.
Hold up a sign: Sign L Carlsson. |

Think they still remember? When Howard Stern does street trivia segments most people can't name any of the countries the US fought in WWII.
For sure though. Hard to lump all Finns in the soft as room temp butter category just cause Teuvo was scrawny. |

I am sure that if he does not sign here that he is also aware that his brother may not even get that one season with us. He could have his year derailed by sitting or being buried in the ECHL. |

That says something about the people they ask. And it is not an unpleasant derogatory hack on their hockey knowledge. |

Tyler may have received his original AHL deal with Rockford because of Dylan but he earned his most recent NHL contract on his own. Tyler has been one of the better forwards for the Hogs. |
