My hope would be that Sikura is a legit NHL middle 6 playmaker so he can be packaged to acquire a defense-man. - EnzoD
Not a bad idea. He's still pretty skinny for someone who's 22-23. |

Is THIS the injury that has caused his game to decline the past three years?
Glad it’s finally being addressed. - StLBravesFan
It can't be a coincidence that he's sitting right after they are eliminated from the playoffs. He's played better lately, the last thing they need in the next couple of weeks is for him to get another concussion or hurt his back or something new. |

So let me get this straight; Some kid who was a 6th round pick is pulling an Eric Lindros on us? He can Fu@K off. - Dieselhead
Maybe my imagination but, there seems to be more of a trend of this happening. The Panthers just had one say he won't sign with them. A 2nd round, 2016 pick.

I know we all appreciate your commitment to this, but I'm quite sure your Sikura position is sarcastic/facetious. The ONLY thing another NHL team can offer Sikura that the Hawks cannot is the chance to play for a Cup on his ELC. The Hawks have more roster holes (opportunity for playing time) than all but 5 NHL teams. Unlike Hayes, I fully expect Sikura to sign with the Hawks. - EnzoD
Just count their roster now and you can support your points. His development would be greatly sided by attending rookies camp. But the only casmp he is elgible for is chiago. I |

He's 5'9", so Bowman will probably use the Nashville pick on him. |

Canes President and interim GM Don Waddell said in an interview yesterday that Scott Darling was out of shape when he arrived for training camp this season.
Said that at this point they'll keep Darling around for next season, but will likely be signing or trading for another experienced goaltender or two this summer.
They want to have three guys in camp, with the loser going to the AHL. They're not givingup on Darling, but he's going to have to work damn hard this summer and show he actually wants this job. |

I like that he's 5'9" but at nearly 200lbs he doesn't fit Stan's agenda. Maybe if this guy drops 40 - 50 pounds Stan would be interested. |

Well that escalated quickly. Is there something inherent in the way CAR plays that exposes their goalies to a lot of high danger chances? It seems that goaltending has been an issue for them for quite a while now. |

Even at 150 he might be a big big, maybe we can put him on a ONNIT diet and get him down to a more manageable 130 pounds.
We'll spend less on gas then as he drives back and forth from Rockford to Chicago. |

From everything we heard about him that is so out of character. He was supposedly another Kane, spending all summer working with goalie coaches. Maybe this summer he should play goalie for Kane and the young Hawks he’s been training, assuming he comes back to Chicago.
Trade and/or his engagement ending must have hit him harder than expected. |

why bring him back to play 5 games vs the aves, blues and jets...
for some reason i am not buying this just happened in the aves game...but what the hell do i know...

Just stop...I actually enjoy reading Bingo's posts. He is updating us on Darling, as many here have asked many times about how he is doing there. You don't have to read it if you don't want, and you definitely don't have to respond to it

Can you talk about ANYTHING else?
We KNOW Panarin is having a ten-times-better season than Saad - we KNOW that Bowman is an idiot and Q couldn't coach a midget team....
