Bills picks:

1 (12)
1 (22)
2 (53)
2 (56)
3 (65)
3 (96)
4 (121)
5 (166)
6 (187)

That's easily 4 starters, maybe more.

So what do the Bills need. Quarterback, Wide receiver, Defensive tackle, Linebacker, Cornerback.

WR - Outside of QB, Bills need a very talented WR. James Washington is a big play, speedy guy. Would fit great. Calvin Ridley could also be available at 22. Re-sign Deonte Thompson. See what the (frank) is up with Zay Jones, but I expect a much better 2018 and him growing a lot if this latest stunt manages to blow over with some medication.

RT - Jordan Mills pretty much sucks. Let's see if we can draft a starter here. Two guys that could be available to start are Tyrell Crosby and Brian O'Neill. Use one of the 2nds on one of these guys. If a first round graded guy drops, snag him.

RG - Vlad Ducasse is bad and it gets worse. Let's consider Will Hernandez with our other 2nd round pick. Guy is stellar with room to grow. He's an LG, but perhaps he can play RG and replace Incognito when the time comes. Isaiah Wynn is another guy to consider with similar talent. Could stand to gain a few lb.

C - Yikes. Ryan Groy is ok, and he's probably going to win the starting battle over Bodine. But that's not great. Consider using a 3rd rounder with potential to be a great starter in year 2. Billy Price or Frank Ragnow could be available here.

LB - We need a quality starter. Use one of the 2nds or one of the 3rds right here. LB class is not very deep. Look at guys like Malik Jefferson or Rashaan Evans.

Now we go to our depth guys, fill in gaps and maybe starters for 2019. One of those guys needs to be ready to start for Kyle.

DT - Trenton Thompson or BJ Hill are worth a look

RB - Let's find us a Kareem Hill. Lots of RB depth in this draft. BPA at this point.

CB - Maybe a 2 or 3 round guy that we need.We have our starters for this year, and Vontae is old. Let's find a number 3/4 with potential for 2.

His old coach is the one that recommended him are you serious right now ..

I bet you AJ was the 4th or 5th option they had

I bet you he was the 1st or 2nd. In fact, I can all but guarantee it. Look at his contract vs his peers. That's all you need to know. Let alone other variables.

Just trade up for Rosen and we won't have to draft a QB for another 12 years who gives a poop

WOW, nice analysis!

Hard to disagree with what your reasoning, but i would have linebacker higher than center

and thats a huge question... .

Save 10+ million on the cap for a guy who could potentially be better and probably be a backup in year 2? Sign me up. But yes, his talent is largely a question to non professional evaluators.

the money savings is a huge plus.. i meant the question on him being better.. but at the end of the day he wasn't working out and we needed to move on from Tie rod and get a player who wasn't named after a car part

Casey Mittelstadt's college coach is stepping down

Casey Mittelstadt's college team will have a coaching change.

Longtime University of Minnesota coach Don Lucia stepped down Tuesday afternoon. Lucia had been behind the Golden Gophers' bench since 1999.

Minnesota's season came to an end Sunday when it failed to make the Frozen Four tournament. The setback also ended Mittelstadt's freshman season.

Buffalo would like to bring the 19-year-old into the organization, and the uncertainty behind the bench at Minnesota could influence Mittelstadt's decision.

The Sabres could sign Mittelstadt to a standard entry-level contract immediately, or sign him to an amateur tryout for the remainder of the season and have the NHL deal begin in 2018-19.

like trade up and draft JP Losman and EJ Manuel?

how did those trade ups work out for us?

- IndianaSabresFan

drafting losman would be strikingly similar to taking jackson at 12 or 22

"eh we couldnt get one of the guys everyone REALLY wanted, so lets take the next one"

not to say it couldnt work out because its a crapshoot, but yeah thats not the mentality i want

And for $12 mil, they could have had him. They had no intention of paying a QB anywhere near Tyrod money

Yet they have a private workout scheduled for him

And we’re not moving up

no idea but the bills felt they had to trade up into the first round to draft him so he must have been a pretty good prospect
