no idea but the bills felt they had to trade up into the first round to draft him so he must have been a pretty good prospect

That’s the giant difference between the two though.

We mortgaged future picks to draft Losman.

If we take Jackson at 22, we’re picking him with house money.

Also, this QB class is really all over the place.

Some people have Allen as the 2nd best QB (Mayock) some don’t even have him in the top 5.

Cian Fahey who does the QB catalogue every year has Rudolph as his #1 QB

house money vs mortgaging doesnt matter i dont give a rats ass about the bills unless they have a quarterback who matters, and if they are scared to move up because it might not work then i will continue to not care

i want the bills to draft their highest rated quarterback that they have access to getting

if they cant get a trade partner, so be it. but if they think jackson is their #1, then they'd trade up to get him too.

but if you have a guy #1 that you know you can get at 22 why would you mortgage the future to move up?

You mean the guy they had to talk to coaches and GM's around the league to get info on ..

You didn't see them calling anybody around for Josh McCown

- gerbe75pts

Couldn’t be because McCown has been in the league for 15 yrs and is almost 40

Josh McCown 1521 Completions
AJ McCarron 86 completions

why would anyone need to look more into the guy with less than 100 completions than the guy with over 1500..

I get why this draft has everyone thinking QB, theres 4 there that can go early. I totally understand why moving up is being discussed.

This new regime in Buffalo is very calculated and hasn't made a move that smells like a complete panic move. Giving up 5 or 6 draft picks to move up to the top 3 smells of complete panic to me.

Totally agree

Unless they really "love" someone.

Imagine if they trade back and get another 1st next year.
Very calculated

Was Losman anywhere near the prospect Jackson is?
- sbroads24

Jackson much better prospect, much better all around athlete than JP ever was...he won the Heisman....Is he going to be a great pro who knows, that what they pay the scouts and GM to figure out.
