Wonder what they'll do. Muse and Tokarski have both been playing well. I guess they could rest both of them for the final few games if they get their spot locked in.

Lyon will probably be the playoff starter anyway. Tokarski is locked in right now and I love what Muse has done. It is kind of unfortunate they have a lot of games played otherwise they could use a packed back half of the schedule to spread starts out.

I would be starting Stolarz in the AHL though. He is the most talented

He's also 34th in total points. I think Ghost has a more legit shot at the Norris, given that he's seen the same 5v5 competition as Provorov for the better part of the season.

Well, if Brent Burns can win it while making Matt Carle look like Nicklas Lidstrom defensively, I don't think what you do on the defensive end really gets taken into account.

There are 24 other guys taken ahead of Debrincat that haven't seen the NHL yet. When Laberge was taken people thought it was a steal as he was talked about as a 1st rounder.

Have to give time to see how things play out before i say Debrincat was a better selection.

More than just his +/- or any stats, he's just bad when you watch him. He makes bad reads, his positioning is suspect, and he takes too many uncalculated risks offensively. It looks great in his goals/assist columns, but it's bad for the team, overall.

Provorov 8th in nhl in goals for defenseman. One of the leaders in ice time. Not one mention for norris.

Just take solace in the fact big Sammie has had nearly 3 straight months to focus on upper body strength training.

If he gets healthy enough to be unleashed in the playoffs, he's going to take 6 months of frustration over missing his Flyers playing time out on somebody in a gloriously violent way.

I don't either in general, but I won't lie: I'm going to be giddy the first time he absolutely demolishes a player with a huge hit or lights someone up in a fight in a meaningful (non-preseason) Flyers game.

I mean I care 99% more about his game play. Clearing the crease, skating length, etc. However 1% of me will feel good knowing that if the other team wants to get into that type of a game that we got a guy like him and simmer to police is comforting. I don't want him to chase it though

Same. He didn't go out looking to fight Bobby Farnham in the preseason, but Farnham challenged him and Sammy had to let him know that it was a bad life choice.
