I might have just flagged this? Sorry?
Pretty sure I’ve seen both those guys penciled into a “next season” lineup on here... agree, players are more ready then they have ever been, blah blah blah. - 1970vintage

Win or lose, I prefer Goldobin in and move 🐻 🧀 at the draft. Golds is basically the two years ago version of Bearsey. |

Hyundai does well in consumer reports/surveys? Not sure how technology has come forward on hybrids, I just feel unless you do a lot of stop and go city driving, or are caught in the Colwood crawl twice per day a hybrid doesn’t save much. |

Remember when Bonino was not good enough for Canucks ? - VANTEL
lol he could barely skate when he was here although has an amazing snapshot.
Playing with Crosby Malkin Letang Kessell etc etc etc I'm sure helped Bonino along... |

You are looking at giving this team a cleansing , It is a series of moves. I am sure you didn't see Hutton Puoliot Markstrom Neilsson Sedins on the team
It doesn't have to be De Hann it could be a Hamhuis or another steady bottom pairing
Out
Neilsson and Markstrom 6.1 mil
Hutton and Pouliot 3.6 cost
Henrik and Daniel 14 mil
In
Chara 7.5 x1
Hamhuis 2 x1
Ward 4.5 x2
??? Bo Boeser
Sven Petterson Jake
Granlund Sutter Archibald
Gaunce Gaudette Goldobin
Edler Chara
OJ Tanev
Hamhuis Gudbrandson
Ward
Demko - VANTEL
lol...do we need to watch Hammer do his best Bieska impression again??

she goes against the crawl every day which is nice. She gets paid per KM travelled through her work, so gas mileage is definitely important. I have always owned Honda's, so don't really know much about Hyundai's/Hybrids but I imagine that they are super popular for a reason. |

I have changed my views, I must admit. I thought Boeser's skating was very suspect in his 9 game tryout last year. He proved my wrong, and has ultimately changed my views on prospects making teams out of junior - Codes1087
i have long been a believer in developing in minors, but, 3 players have changed my mind over the last couple seasons, Boeser (NCAA),Barzal (CHL), and Matthews who played in what I considered to be a far inferior league too most of recognized mainstream development leagues.
If a player earns it in camp, then they should make the team, provided they have NHL level talent and not AHL/Junior level talent like Jake & Jared of a couple seasons ago. |

Not sure why Archibald is penciled in. He had a few good games when he came up but since disappeared...I'll be surprised if Goldy plays again with the big club after seasons end. Ward isn't a upgrade to Markstrom IMO. |

The thing with a hybrid is the engine only turns off when you are stopped or going very slow, like less then 5km/hr. I feel like a super economical care like Honda Fit, is a better option. If you lived in Calgary, or Vancouver, and had to deal with downtown trafic, a hybrid would definitely be the way to go. |

He's a free agent and I heard people suggest the Canucks bring him back. This is why I hate people. |

I don't understand how you can pencil a prospect in for Utica over the NHL based off their Junior/college/SEL seasons. The calder race this year has some amazingly talented kids, and it just goes to show that kids are better developed in junior/ncaa than ever before. I just don't think you should pencil a prospect in for either the pro's or the minors before development camp. Boeser in Utica this year would have been a mistake, no reason to believe, at this point (its impossible to translate our prospects seasons into NHL) that Pettersson/Gaudette can not only make the team, but excel on the team. - Codes1087
It's pretty easy: zero NHL experience, pencil them in for Utica for now. If they prove otherwise, great. |

Sutts was redundant before he was acquired... as a third line C on a contending team, he would be good, but not many teams build around the third line C. |

It did work once, with Linden, mostly, so it could work again |

he's a great 3rd line center, I wouldn't go further than that. I think they felt Sutter was similar but with more character. - neem55
Sutter is a lot faster and a better shut down guy. Bonino was always a decent player until he came to this team who for years and years keep doing the same thing over and over |

I think Canucks should take the Russian, even first overall. Then the other foundational Russian in the KHL will come back, and Goldy will play better. We should go from little Sweden to little Russia. |

100? Brock shooting against plugs like Bachman would be hilarious |

my point is that Hischier/Barzal/Boeser/Debricant/Point/Keller/McAvoy/Werenski/Jones would all prove that wrong. I am just saying, to hastily pencil a promising prospect like Boeser into Utica, would to me, be the same as penciling any of these players as a lock for opening night roster. Let Development camp settle it all. |
