I think the acquiring team would have till june 1st? or whatever the prospect deadline is. Id offer a pick, he's from Toronto and if they chose not to go after him Buffalo might be a decent option.

Gusev was originally a lightning pick no? If they didn't think they could bring him over i don't see a scenario where we could.
