Craig Button has TK ranked ahead of Svechnikov and Z. Also in a lot of highlight reels I see Dahlin coming down the right side of the ice and if I remember correctly he played the right side for Sweden at the WJC with Brannstrom playing on the left side. If he remains on the right in the NHL remains to be seen obviously but if the lotto balls fall the right way our d corps could look like this next year.

While I agree with this, I think he did the right thing in waiting.

Honestly even next year I don’t think it is a good idea to go out and chase FA’s.

Promote the youth, and ride that out. Try to trade Ror, he is talented but he just doesn’t fit. Trade Okposo, he is talented but again can’t keep up. The trade of all trades...Bogo, it’s not impossible but even just one of these moves is going to send a strong message.
Eichel made clear when he spoke about coming back to finish the season. There is no chemistry with this group on the ice.

I agree. There should be a good crop of prospects coming into Buf/Roch next season. Give them some time to develop. Make 1 hockey trade this off season, to continue to repair the GMTM mess. Continue to take low risk gambles on UFA's/change of scenery guys.

Next year needs to be an improvement, but it's still a transition year. A high priced FA is not the right long term move.

I believe his contract expires after next season in the SHL. And he's not that good to terminate his contract.

Edit: His contract is up this season, not next. He may head to Roch. But personally I'd bet on him spending another season in the SHL.
