They aren't doing it on purpose. Some newer cars are made that way. My wife's Chevy Cruze has "stop/start technology". Engine shuts off at stops. Supposed to save gas, I guess.

I don't have that feature on my car (BRZ 2015) but I accidentally turn it off a lot at stop lights when I hit the push button start/stop thinking it's the radio or AC/Heat button.

It's subtle, but I think it was for a culture change. Bringing in Wilson and Nolan, letting Moulson go, trading Kane. Say what you want about the former two, but they bring it every night. They've also won a total of 4 cups. (Don't correct me, I'm close).
