Because there are 4 QBs
Looking at how the draft should play is out part of the GM's job.
Them trading up to the top 5 when they could get that guy at 10 is like paying $300,000 for a house when you know you could get it for $200,000
It is bad asset management. - Stripes77
not if you're dead-set on selecting rosen, which is the guy he wants |

So because junior is set on Rosen makes it even better for me for the Bills to not panic.
Junior thinks the Jets are going to draft Mayfield at 3.
Why would I give up the farm for the 3rd QB taken off the board?
Hell I would stay at 12 take Allen (or Rosen who could still be there) and keep my picks |

one of allen, Mayfield, Jackson or Rudolph will probably be available between 6 and 10.
Bills can trade with Chicago at eight to secure one of them and still have plenty of picks including their first and second rounders - Michael Pachla
Lamar Jackson I don’t trust him there’s reasons why teams want to work him out as a wide receiver his accuracy is (frank)ing terrible and you can’t fix that
Mason - you already know my feelings on him
Josh Allen is (frank)ing terrible only one QB in the NFL right now had a 56 % completion percentage that’s Matthew Stafford that’s it
That’s like winning the lottery if he becomes a QB that’s good |

probably gonna need to move past Miami to get him...but trading somewhere between 6 and 10 means they'll be able to keep their other first rounder and probably three of their next four picks.
Fact is, the teams with those picks--colts, bucs, bears, niners and raiders--all have their qb's |

That’s why the bills have been so successful finding the QB in the last 20 years just sitting on the eggs |

you could very well be right...then again, maybe not...
will be interesting to see what unfolds...if nyg take chubb, and Denver ends up taking nelson fifth overall, one of rosen, allen or Mayfield could be available between 6 and 10, dependent upon who the browns and jets take |

Exactly
Moving up 2-4 spots from 12 would cost 12 and a 2nd and call it a day especially since those teams know the Bills aren't taking one of their guys.
Miami is a wildcard, they could move up and still not take a QB |

No the Bills have been so successful finding a QB by taking the wrong QB's in the first round (JP and Manuel)
The fact is just because you like Rosen doesn't mean Beane and McDermott do. |

How many QBs in Philip Rivers draft ? So we ended up at the fourth best QB right
That worked out |

And you think josh Allen is the answer? Go look up all the QBS that had a 56 completion percentage
I will wait |

Except in that draft there were clear cut favorites.
This draft doesn't have that them.
Everyone knew Eli was first and Rivers was next. NOBODY has any idea how this is going to play out.
Two days ago you're flipping out that the Jets get Rosen now that they moved up and now today you're saying they're going to take Mayfield.
Basically what I am telling you is to relax because you have NO CLUE as to what is going to happen. |

No, I have said from day one when it came to these QB's that I have been all about Mayfield.
But unlike you if Beane and McDermott see it a different way and they get their guy then I really don't care. |

That it true .. if we dont this is all on Mr. bean then he’s the one that couldn’t seal the deal with the Colts and he let the Jets jump ahead of us |

The Eagles and Los Angeles Rams are fine once you have that QB in place everything work itself out
We will attract high profile free agents because they want to play for that quarterback and coach we have over 100 million next year to fill those holes |

You do realize that is more like $70 million now and to top it off they have a roster full of guys on the wrong side of 30
The Rams have the 2nd youngest team in the league
The Eagles are at 23
The Bills are 30th
But yeah lets give away youth |

Motivation for guys to throw in the towel. We don't need any more wins this season, we need a top 3 pick, preferably, Dahlin. Finishing last has us picking no later than 4th, but finishing 3-4 has us possibly picking 6-8. I don't want to have to leave things up to GMJB to pull off another Mittelstadt pick, although I have faith he can. Let's just leave things as an easy, homerun pick. - sskkoo1
Motivation..to lose? No most of these guys are just not good. |

Michael Pachla: Nolé, Nolé, Nolé, Les Habitants. 27th place Montreal visits Buffalo tonight - Michael Pachla
The way this blog is written you'd have to think that the Sabres were a better team than they are.
Writing about how they have flip flopped in and out of the playoffs the last few years... meanwhile what have the sabres done? Calling out Prices numbers in a year where the Defence is atrocious and he's dealt with consistent injuries is a bit misleading as well.
MTL sucked this year... may miss the playoffs again next year... but will also likely finish ahead of the Sabres again. |

Better to finish in last then 6th last. Looking at things in that perspective the Sabres are in fact ahead of the Habs. But hey another useless victory would be great for you guys tonight. |
