I would try and get Bode Wilde for Tanev. If a team with a pick in the 14-16 range will give up their first and Wilde is still there then I look to make that move.

You raised some good points some time ago about expansion issues. Not that I think we should be concerned too much, as we have very little to protect, within the rules, but, we may be able to acquire some decent players from teams in trouble, come expansion and will maybe need the room.

7 meaningless games left, he probably wouldnt get into the lineup for a few days, so Dallas and Edmonton are probably out, then you got 5 left. Whereas he could be top-6 in a playoff run with adequate support around him

I should have said, was willing to give them some time. Boeser wanted to continue playing hockey right away.

Cooper Marody scored two for Michigan including the winner. Philly traded him to Edmonton a few days ago.

It wont get any better though so like every other canucks trade they will blow it with this one too

That’s my thinking. I believe he is likely ready but only one way to find out. Throw him to the wolves and then he will know what he needs to work on this summer

If they do sign him and keep him up, I would hope they at least send Motte down asap.
He only has a few games left before he loses waiver eligibility, so may as well send him down and save those games for next season.
