If they do sign him and keep him up, I would hope they at least send Motte down asap.
He only has a few games left before he loses waiver eligibility, so may as well send him down and save those games for next season.

I dont believe he is eligible to play in NHL then Utica, as he has not been papered down.
It is either burning a year or sign an ATO.

I haven't paid much attention to the CHL overagers this year. You really can't find much out of the CHL. It's combed through pretty good every draft. Not much squeaks through. More and more 19 year olds being drafted too.

Always worth a shot or two though.

My memory of Miller is that he 'stole' a lot of games and Markstrom seems to be the opposite with his patented 1st shot - 1st goal.

Miller let in his fair share of muffins, they just came late in games instead of early in games. Funny how we long for things from the past, which we remember as being better then the present.

It doesnt surprise me that this team is winning. I have been following Tri-City for a couple years now. I called Valimaki the best defenseman in last draft i wanted Geekie and Rasmussen, although not ot 5.

Don’t think Boucher has been up long enough to require waivers yet. If he has, he wouldn’t be eligible to a playoff team. Goldobin is also Uticabound for playoffs.
