Bob McKenzie: Top college free agent defenseman Daniel Brickley (Minnesota State) has narrowed his list of NHL teams down to five. A decision on where he’ll be signing should be made in the next day or two.
Bob McKenzie: Brickley can sign a two-year, entry-level deal. If he were to get into an NHL game this season, which is likely to happen, then he’d burn a year off his contract. He isn’t eligible for the playoffs this year.
John Hoven: The Los Angeles Kings are believed to one of the five that are in on Brickley.
On the Vancouver Canucks and Adam Gaudette …
Rick Dhaliwal: Canucks prospect Adam Gaudette is out of the NCAA playoffs now.
Rick Dhaliwal: Source is saying that contract talks between the Canucks and Gaudette’s camp will heat up today.
.@tg_gman: They've made a profound number of management mistakes. It's been somewhat ameliorated with respect to the future by the drafting, but that's only in theory. What's happened on the ice, in practice, tangible evidence, is nothing short of an unmitigated disaster #canucks
Getting some game action in a league that's probably been his dream since he was a kid will just be an awesome experience for him, win or lose. - LeftCoaster
Always fun to join a shell-shocked team in a spiralling tailspin. Hopefully there is lots of in-fighting and finger pointing going on.
Management sucks.

For a first tim forward I don't think it's a big deal as you can manage his ice, he'll be awestruck, for a goaltender though, I wouldn't subject Demko to that team in front of him.
