Wasn't Brickley an invite to the Sabres camp the last two years? I would think that gets us to be in the last 5 teams, but no way that means he picks us (only because of that). I would hope GMJB talked with him during that time letting him know we want to sign you at the end of this year. Hope we can lock him up. He would be a top 4 guy here this week if he plays. Sad but true |

When you go through the roster, and think through who met their expectations this year, it's sad.
Nelson blew his away. Guhle did exactly what they laid out. Sam's second half might balance out how bad the first was. Run of the mill guys like Falk and Wilson gave them what they expected. ERod, probably. It's a depressingly short list.

How is this in any way true? The Sabres have never owned his rights, and he wasn't a FA. |

He was a college undrafted Free agent they could’ve offered him a contract that’s what those players usually come for a “contract “
Remember Drake Caggiula He was at the development camp and we could’ve signed him but he chose a different team a year later
The only thing we have going right now is Casey Nelson his defense partner
He convinced him to come to the Sabres development camp so we’ll see if he stays |

I think we have to get used to having no picks this year if they were that close to Acquiring Indianapolis pick they obviously have someone in mind and I don’t think they’re gonna stop until they have the first or second pick - gerbe75pts
But they wouldn't pull the trigger meaning it was too rich for them to do it
I think you need to get used to the idea of staying put at 12 and at the very most moving to the 7-10 range |

False because he wasn't an FA
He went undrafted and was a FA until the start of this junior year, he wanted to stay in school, he got his education and now he is eligible to be signed.

I don't think that's true. I don't believe he became UFA until his college season ended.
Drake was a different situation. He played 4 years of college, and could have signed after 3.

I think they only move up is if one of the guys that they "love" has fallen.
I am guessing they will target Rudolph at 22 and take something else at 12.
Then the whole world will fall apart. |

If any college player signs a deal, they have to go to the pros. It's not like a drafted player in Junior.
Either teams felt that the player needed more development, or the player wanted to stay in school.
There are so many other situations that are being overlooked because of the jaded view of this team. |

But in the end he decided to stay another year |

Do I have to really search through the archives to prove you wrong ..
I know for a fact he was a free agent last year because I remember him being on top of Bobs free agents |

You were also talking about how he has been in back to back development camps
He could have only signed before this year, he decided to finish school
It's like you don't think for yourself at all
He turned down every offer because he wanted to finish school.
One of my employees did that as well, his season ended and he signed his pro deal because he wanted to finish school and play out his senior year which he just did |

He couldn’t sign in 2016 but he could’ve signed in the summer of 20017
Before you said he wasn’t a free agent that’s what I was debating you about |
