I think playing with horvat helps. It’s hard to float when horvat dripping around. Just don’t let it happen.

TG has to realize that Goldy is a skilled player and they are best when they can use that skill. He's never going to be a forechecking grinder.

Nobody ever asked the Sedin's to be "hard" to play against. They had pretty decent career's

I don't think he's wanting him to be a grinder he wants him to show up and compete and put in the effort to play defense, not just be an offense-only player. And the Sedins were tough to play against, mainly because they had the puck the whole time

That's Zetterberg going off on some of the younger Wings players the other week – could easily apply to Goldy or any number of the young guys. As much as we are hard on TG for drilling this in, it's pretty common across the NHL.
