This is actually a pretty decent point.
But the more obvious observation I'd say is that he's versatile and the org knows it. He played center in school and LW/C in the WJC. They'll put him at both regardless. How fast he moves to wing will depend on whether he can handle it, is my guess. And based on what Botts just said.

ROR was terrible on the dot last night, so we should've lost seeing as how faceoffs are all so super important, except we have that "other" center, who is not so faceoff proficient, doing other, better hockey things to help us win.

Once we comprise a roster of 23 players who make $2.8 million each, we will be good. Then nobody will play more than anybody else, all of our centers will win exactly 50% of their faceoffs (which don't matter, btw), and nobody will be over or underpaid
