Is C just a position you see plugging a player into or more to it than that? - Nighthawk
Huh? Plug any player I want to on any line I feel like. |

A whopping game changing 5 lbs.
Beast mode activated.
Comparing? U asked name one in a weight class of 175#. Make up your mind. Do you believe all posted heights & weights? - Nighthawk
EP is 160. 20 pounds of muscle is fairly significant. I know you don't like being wrong, but just stop. |

1 year. They said themselves that they will take it 1 year at a time. - Retinalz
I know If I scored 21 goals 50 pts I would be looking 2 years 5 mil per. I might even consider trying to hook up with a playoff team |

he's taken over 1000 FO's this year. That's more than Seguin took in any season before this year. Like 200+ more than Henrik - Lindenis#1
really hey, Point is a exceptional player and that is a lot of draws. Fair play. |

Shocked they don't lose weight. I know a bunch of my friends during there years in junior hockey struggled to keep weight on. |

Its not only putting on the weight, its putting on that weight and maintaining your mobility, flexibility, cardio, and agility. Then learning to play at a higher weight and how it changes your game.
Guys can bulk up easy like fat Jake and fat OJ last year. Fat Kadri a few years ago. But learning to play with even an extra 5lbs can be really significant change, especially when you're young. |

Time to take an account of what EP will weigh when he comes to camp next season. I say 176 lbs. |
|
|

Point and Hischier.
But thats quite literally the list. - Lindenis#1
Wasn't Marner a thin bastard when he first played? |

at juniors they had him at 168 I thought. I can't find a link, just the number I remember when they were talking about it. |

Very possible.
Biggest thing we need to worry about now is Kesler taking a run at Gaudette tomorrow night... |

Very much so. At Mem.Cup practises here I bet he was barely 165. |

I would show up to college at like 184-ish knowing that by the end of the year I'd be down to 177 easily. You just lose mass when you can't strength train regularly because you're having 2-3 practices and 2-3 games a week.
There's almost really no way for EP to have played 60-ish games since the draft and somehow put on 10lbs and KEEP IT. |

I remember meeting a bunch of the prospects one time at the rink. I'm 5'10 and change. Most of these kids were listed at 6ft and we were either sharing eye level or I was above them. |

Not entirely true. It's generally not likely. If EP is around 165 lbs at 6'1-2" then he isn't going to lose. He's got nothing to lose. When you don't have muscle mass how do you lose it. When you aren't fat how are you going to lose it. His body basically can only go up. Unless he is starving himself, then maybe he could lose it. |

Yeah my cousins says Gagner is closer to 5'9" then 5'11". He was eye to eye with him in Mexico. I think the NHL gives them the benefit of the doubt |

There's a difference between holding weight, which is admittedly easier when you're already smaller, than managing to go upwards over the course of a season.
It's not that it can't be done, its just that I don't buy how every prospect manages to put on 10-15-20lbs of muscle, reportedly, during every season until they make the team. |

Russian hockey inherently doesn’t produce character players who bust their can all over the ice. Ballerinas not floaters 😂😂 - Nighthawk
Have you ever seen Putin play hockey? He plays a promoted game every year and the clip I saw two years ago had me laughing. He comes down the ice on a crazy legs breakaway, scores and cant stop and crashes into the net/boards iirc.

One time Eberle and Hemsky were side by side on the blueline during warmup. Hemsky was clearly taller than Eberle. I decided to check the game notes. Both were 6ft 180lbs. |
