Typically, this is how you want a player to respond.

Who knows if he wants to be the dude.. I think after being in the league this long he should know by now that he will never be the dude.

I remember when he was just coming into the league that there were some question marks surrounding him because of his home life.. abuse and such. His dad was/is clearly a bit out there, and was very involved in his time in Colorado.

Wouldn't surprise me if the old man was constantly in his ear about him being the next big thing or something like that.
