Listening to Shayne Malloy earlier . He has a lot of praises for Canucks prospects . The only negative thing he said about any of them was that Dahlen has flat lined. .
Interestingly enough also he said he would take Tkachuck over any Dman not named Dahlin. He called him a nasty piece of buisness with skill.

Dahlen has like 23 points in 15 career Allveskan games. Not sure about flat lining being the right term, but I don't think he has the same numbers if he decided to move to SEL, or AHL. Hard to gauge where his progress has been at since hes playing in inferior league.
As far as Tkachuk > Svech + Zadina.. I don't know that I agree with that. I think a player with the skillset that he has is appealing to all teams though, just not sure if he is a more logical choice over the other 2.
Malloy is purely stat watching if he thinks Dahlen has flat lined. Shame - CanuckDon
I think its the opposite. Kid is clearly destroying the league he is playing in. I think it must be in reference to him choosing to play the year in a much less competitive league, over having the opportunity to push himself in the AHL/SEL.
lol yeah I don't really know what he expects. Dahlen has maxed out in Sweden's AHL. He can't really do much more. He's too good for that league. - Nucker101

Tkachuk over Zadina is crazy to me
But that's just my opinion. Zadina could be another Boeser type of goal scorer(they don't have the same styles, but I mean in terms of pure goal scoring ability). I'll take that over Tkachuk.

tkachuk might be another virtanen.
would be funny if you guys end up passing on the good tkachuk and picking the bad one.

That is not what he said or what I repeated.

How so? His production is relatively flat but if you digg deeper he has improved. The difference in the two leagues is very minor and overstated. Remember, Timra is likely moving up to the SHL for next season. His reasons for staying in Timra are admirable and well thought out. He would have been a top player in the SHL. 💯

For sure but I totally appreciate why he stuck around. Kid is loyal and promotion of his club was very important to him

I don’t mind his reasons for staying, but I’m not sure if I agree that the difference between both leagues is minor. The middle/lowest tier teams in that league are trash compared to an average SHL team.

Well it’s not like the AHL to NHL. Teams swap every season. Point being, if he is the best player in his league (which he is for sure), he would light up the SHL. Sure worked for EP
