So,
I have been advocating for outlawing all these shooter video games, in a multi-facetated approach to reducing shooter violence, which also includes some limitations on guns ... Tao include early psycholigical evaluations to ID at risk kids, waiting periods, background checks, limited magazine sines, etc..as well as the following at schools...
Bullet proof glass
Metal detectors/Wands
Safe rooms
No one “community”suffers the brunt, is the single target.
What ideas do you have / offer up? - IonSabres
The theory of video game violence having a correlation with school violence, shootings, etc., has long been debunked. In fact, there are studies that prove quite the opposite.

I'm baffled anyone is so out of touch that they even try to blame videogames for anything.

So, it's both nature and nurture, and since you can't change nature(genetics) there's no point in punishing everyone for a infinitesimally small section of the population that engage in aberrant behavior. 99.99999% of people can tell the difference between a video game and real life. Those that can't we need to target(no PUN intended) better, and get them the help they need.
China has problems with mass murderers in their rural areas with knife/ax attacks. I'm guessing, yes, but I don't think those often middle age men are sitting down and pwning n00bs in COD.
As far as the law side goes. We need universal laws, not this poop like the South or out West where you can go buy a handgun without a permit or waiting period.
Magazine sizes are a red herring, it takes such a small amount of time to change a magazine, and in fact high capacity ones jam frequently, so let's say you change the (hypothetical)law from 20 to 10 per and there's a mass shooting would 12 deaths be any better than 15? He missed 3 people because he had to change mags. We need to get at the root of the problem. To put it into context, magazine sizes are the Evander Kane of gun laws, they're the cherry on top, not a foundational piece.
Universal, thorough, background checks at the state and federal level, just a 1 day waiting period and I bet gun crime would decrease, yearly psych eval as part of permitting process, and then you can get whatever the (frank) you want, but if you store your firearms improperly and they're stolen and used in the commission of a crime you bear liability.
Here's the thing though. If you implement that nationwide, you're not going to stop gun crime, the guns are already out there, you can't put that genie back in the bottle, but it's also no excuse not to have common sense laws on the books either.
It would take a few years for the guns used in crimes to either A) be confiscated as part of the investigation, B) disposed of after said crime and C) buyback programs. Which would lead to an increase in street prices which would eventually lower the amount of guns on the street until it was at a low level, it will never go away, because eventually people will start making their own zip guns for $30 worth of materials from Home Depot.

FPS's are sometimes used in military PTSD sufferers.

Loving every shift Borgen has had so far in the game. Blocked shot, playing physical, clearing the zone. He isn't letting anything past.
i didn't say they weren't ahead, i said its not that big of a gap.
Tkachuk had the same numbers as Casey in college. we're going to gag on his Richard but call tkachuk underwhelming? - Sabresfan-365
As cliche as this might sound, it’s not always about the points. The guy dominated almost every game he played in and made several “holy poop” plays a game. I’m a fan of TK as well, have no complaints about the player. Svechnikov’s goal scoring rate 5v5 blows McDavid out of the water... let that sink in. And Zadina has been electric including the WJC where he carried a Czech team further then anyone anticipated.
that first play of the game he passed up an obvious shot for a drop pass nobody was looking for.
I get that he's uber talented im not blind lol. Ive repeatedly called him our version of marner. But his flashiness doesn't=stardom. In keeping with the leafs comparison, we still need our version of Will Nylander. - Sabresfan-365
Alex was supposed to be our version of William. During the draft process he was touted to be better then his brother. The kid has skills you can’t teach, it’s up to him to put the work ethic in and put it all together. As of now he hasn’t, and is a potential bust. Next year is a make it or break it year for him

The Raiders have released P Marquette King and waived TE Clive Walford.
I would love king here - gerbe75pts
I'm not sure what to think about this one. He's a great punter but has a personality that Gruden won't tolerate. Plus he was making $3 million per year.
