Bills sign CB Phillip Gaines.
No one will know the difference - gerbe75pts
The only reason Gaines wasn't re-signed is because he couldn't stay on the field. I know the saying "the best ability is availability", but I think the Bills take it a bit too far. Who knows? Maybe they offered him a deal and he could do better with Cleveland? But it sounds like they had no intention of re-signing him. |

Im kind of sick of ror's bullpoop honestly. - TheHank
I like him, but i wouldn't be too disappointed if the sabres move on.
He does seam like a guy who would be a beast in the playoffs. He looks great for Canada.
If there is any real riff with him an eichel, he needs to be moved. Probably at the draft |

I’m thinking he overpriced himself in free agency and the bills already moved on so he chose the Brown’s |

They already had a deal in place in the Jets jump them ESPN even reported it and WGR - gerbe75pts
The Jets overpaid big time . It is what it is . No one knows outside Bills front office what their draft board looks like . Maybe the Bills like someone you don"t .
They have lots of football minds that work on this full time. All the keyboard gm's in the world are not going to change the opinion of the team in the draft room.
It is what it is and all the crying will not change the outcome. Guess what ? the sun will come up the day after the draft and life will go on . All the crying in advance of the draft will not change how things play out . You just hope they did their homework and adapt well to whatever is thrown at them. Drafts are fluid and things are always changing. You never know how things will fall.

Or the Jets screwed us and everyone’s gonna play it like they didn’t - gerbe75pts
I'm not sure why you feel that way?
I guess if we like the qbs, and only 3. They go 1-2-3 and then we reach for a losman.

We trade up and give Dallas a 1st in the next year for jp..
Otherwise, it's the jets. They have a history of making dumb moves. I'd be worried if it was the pats.
If I was young and only saw 1 playoff game in my lifetime, I could see where your coming from.
We were so good for so long. It does happen. 88-96

Great post.
Plus reports are fabricated.
Who says we didn't trick the jets into overpaying, by showing fake interest.
Bills may like someone we just don't think they like.
Harrison Phillips with the ty pick . Calling it now

I've decided that if the bills want to move up into a top-four/five pick, they'll need to make a move up to 7/8 first...I don't believe any team at 2, 3, 4, or 5 will want to move all the way down to 12 this year...too many good players at the top of the draft - Michael Pachla
Welcome to the club.
Been saying that since the move to 12...not that I’m brilliant (I am tho), but that S why Indy took the Jets offer, 3 to 6 is much easier to swall W than 3-12.
Indy, Tampa are the targets, since they need D, help them out a bit and include Raglin or dumbass Hughes into the mix in an effort to reduce the cost in terms of picks.
Once at 6-7, it opens a ton of doors, especially in this draft if 4 QBs go in 1st 6 picks |

I think there will be one of the big 4 in the 6-9 range
It all depends on who they like |

What's shaq's current value.
10th overall pick 2 years ago?
Could we move from 12 to 10? 12 to 8?

a 3rd round pick should get you from 12 to 10
To get to 8 you'd have to give a 2nd |

That was a rex pick? Not sure if he fits the current regime. He has that 5th year (1st) round pick value.
Especially if have someone in mind.
The Bills really need to put some pressure on the qb.
Hughes if he's still here, that's about it.
Star and td machine Kyle probably will have a handful. Between them |
