Would you trade sam to Vancouver for pick 5-7 in this draft? - Boss34

No, why do we want to trade away another 20 goals from a team that already has problems scoring???? So we can pick in the top 8 for the next 10 years? |

(frank) the leafs and (frank) loosing..... get the w.... go sabres! - gordong
Man some of you just don’t get it ..
Let’s try to get a meaningless win when that does nothing but affect our draft It was a great idea in the Matthews draft or did you forget that
We all can cheer for them when they clinch last place and then the last game of the season will be fun |

3 people I want moved
Ror , Ristolainen, sam
These three could possibly get us the pieces to becoming a Stanley Cup contender(someday) if the trade is right

One of the few times I 100% agree with you
It looks bad, however there is some onus on the player about to be hit, he knew a hit was coming and he turned away.
I am not saying Hartnel didn't deserve the penalty which he did, he might even get suspended but I doubt it, even if he does get suspended it would be 3-5 games at most.
Hits like that happen 100 times a game, the result just was really bad

Remember when NJ, Dallas AND Philly all jumped Colorado?
It happens. Chance be chance. Begging for something out of your control is futile. |

What he's praying for is an 81.5% chance to fail instead of an 86.5% chance to fail. |

losing is undoubtedly better for the franchise, but its up to the fan if its more fun for them.
the mceichel draft losing was the only option. not so much anymore. |

Gerbe mentioned to trade sam for a #1 defenseman.
There's a couple #1 projected in 5-7 in this draft
I wouldn't, just asking him |

There's nothing wrong with rooting for a win. Rooting for your team. Because despite your support, they're going to play the way that they play, and there's not a god damn thing you can do about it.
you as a fan have zero control over their success or failures on a per game basis.
On the other hand, there's nothing wrong with brushing off a loss and stating, welp, at least we have better odds.
Wins help this team mesh and gain confidence. Something they'll need for next year. Winning helps show the coaches what works and what can and should be carried over next season. And vice versa for losing. The team has been a tire fire and needs a massive clean up, obviously. I'm just excited for the entire offseason. |

That's the start and end of the argument, imo. There's one sure thing with a top pairing dman. You don't get him, you don't trade Sam. It's counter productive. |

my point is if youre going to berate fans for wanting to finally root for wins after all this time, youre an bumhole
