Anything could happen, which is the beauty of making the playoffs in the first place.

Yeah he signed an PTO so he could back up Tokarski, but was released. Seems like he’s just practicing with them |

I guess I knew the Sedins would retire one day, but for me, at least as someone who has rarely seen them play and is just looking at their numbers, I'd guess both players have some tread left of the tires.
I respect their decision to retire and to do so together, but it would have been interesting to see what Vancouver could have gotten if they were dealt and how each player would have fared separately. |

Any roster that doesn't include Lehtera, Weise or Manning should be a good one. |

Boston’s Brad Marchand fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for cross-checking Philadelphia’s Andrew MacDonald.

Four headed goalie monster!
Or is it 5? Did Stolarz get some time this season? - Lexington Flyer
maybe we can play all 4 at the same time, and G and TK up front. that should be effective. |

When you see the poop he pulls and the joke fines/suspension, you understand the Brown-Sandstrom incident a lot more. |

i'm sure gudas will remain, and hagg will sit.
i don't ever want to hear about accountability and veteran presence. simmonds...horrendous clearing attempt. i don't know what he was thinking. gudas, an awful turnover early...and mrazek bailed him out...that's another stupid play. also caused the first goal against. letehra had the panicked backhand failed clear that turns into the 2nd goal. all vets. all making mental and physical mistakes.

I'm so glad we have a coach with the courage to bench clueless young players like Hagg and Laughton, and play gritty veterans like Lehtera and Manning in their place. Without Lehtera's clutch block of MacDonald's clearing attempt and Manning's on the tape pass directly to Bergeron, Giroux wouldn't have set a new record in goals yesterday. That's the kind of reliability a team needs on the ice in the final minute. Otherwise, you risk winning the game in regulation. |
