If Risto records 1 point in the last 4 games he will become the 5th Sabres d-man to ever record 3 straight 40 point seasons.... STINKS

GM's get a hard one for those players thinking ok maybe this player it's not putting up the points because he's not in the right situation I believe I can create that..

For example if TK was in the OHL he have over 90 points and people wouldn't think twice about picking him correct ?

Well, first you're assuming he'd have 90 points. Then you're also assuming that his point total would mask his overall potential, which is false. GMs and scouts put a premium on prospects playing against men. They can't stop talking about how player x plays against men so he's ready for the AHL etc.

But apparently, in BT's case, he's underperforming. He's also 17-18 playing in the NCAA. Few prospects outside the top 10 are able to do that.

I didn't see any love for boqvist...read somewhere where if you missed out on dahlin, boqvist is a real nice consolation prize

His defense needs to improve.

Still love the player. Much more than others.

I expect the Sabres to lose the lottery. So after the top 3, I couldn't care less if we drafted 4-7

Well, depending on our lottery position, that may in fact change.

Bouchard has really pushed himself up the charts. Boqvist has been hanging around the same spot all year. Two pretty impressive kids.

I'm sure the author figured out a way for both of them to win most of the time.

Your missing the ponit I'm saying people would think of TK different if you put those kind of points up in the OHL correct I'm talking fans in general people are looking at it his college stats and saying man he's not going to score at the NHL level

5. Adam Boqvist, D, 5-foot-11, 170 pounds (Almtuna IS, Allsvenskan): A fantastic skater and playmaker who isn’t afraid to shoot. If you don’t end up with Dahlin, getting Boqvist is more than just a consolation prize.

From the last blog:

Fitz: not sure if sam has more value than ror on the open market. Interesting for sure.

The contract for ror is a negative

The intangibles he has over sam would be the positive:
International success
Faceoff dominant
Tremondous average ice time
Ability to grow facial hair

Maybe locking down the 5th pick and getting either Brady or boqvist is the plan.

We'll see if lehner or Wilcox plays in the next few games.
That would be pretty indicative of wanting the 4th pick locked in.
