Yeah, like 12 years ago...

Was someone saying that Timmy was great or something?
Just wondering how he’s suddenly on your mind

- jdfitz77

Timmy was kept along with Afinogenov and Kotalik over JP. JP had 66, 72, and 65 the three years after.

Minimum wage should be 20 for people
Your wasting your water to get ready for work
wasting gas to get to work
Cleaning your clothes for work more money
Going home from work more money

Yeah I think they're entitled to it

Min wage should be 20?

I make at least twice that making 7.50 an hr and my tips. Go work for it and earn it. And I’ll out work you any day. Not gym bullish!t either. I’ll out work you in any physical labor job 10-12 hrs a day followed by drinks after and get up and do it again. It’s How I was raised. Nothing is given, Earn it kid...earn it.

I don't care what anybody says there should be building blocks for different kinds of people and different money wages for people that have kids and have a house they shouldn't be making the same amount of money as a kid that's 17 or so

If you own a house or rent you should be in a different category and get a different amount of money to support those needs

That's what I believe

$7.50 for a tipped worker in NYS is really good. Most I know make like $3.50, well did until the new law that says tipped workers have to be paid min wage was, will be in effect.

Well you’re wrong.

Don’t have kids if you can’t afford it. Keep it in your pants or do the right thing.

Don’t buy a house if you can’t afford it.

Do you have any idea the amount of small businesses that will go out of business based an you beliefs? Small businesses are the backbone of this country BTW.

Do you understand how much it would cost people to go out based on your beliefs?

Do you understand how much it would cost to grocery shop based on your beliefs?

Based on your belief the fry cook at Burger King deserves 20 an hr because they have a kid and some how managed to buy a house.

I’ll pick you apart anytime bud. You’re way off base on this and inline with an entitled way of thinking. Earn it kid. It’d be exilerating for you.

Come back home and this overweight 39yr old will learn you.

I just remember talking to friends who would say "time to go get my $17 paycheck after I worked 45 hours last week..." In reality they made like $800, but it was all tips.

I hear what you’re saying...
but then stuff like healthcare needs to be regulated so ppl don’t go bankrupt if they get sick
and kids shouldn’t be in debt till their 30s bc they went to college
And so on, and so on...

Ppl that work 40hours a week,
need to be able to “live” without having to rack up crazy debt on credit cards to get by

I know ppl who work their butts off,
but still barely get by
I’m sure you do too
That’s not “The American Dream”
Is it?

I do not disagree.

The only bought of everyone based on the parameters DESERVE X.

BULLSH1T!!!!!!!

I assume at this point I’m in the minority.

1997 just out of High School, 80 hrs a week.

Still 80 hrs a week goes to college 4.0

I (wrongfully) drop out.

Make a life for myself.

Now NYS want to (frank) with mine and a poop ton of others lively hood?

NYS agenda: let’s make more money by screwing with servers

Politicians: Brilliant!!!!

Public: you just killed small businesses in NYS. They’re now dead. Congrats your budget is 10xs the deficit now.

Here’s the thing...
i understand everything you’re saying,
but it’s the Government’s responsibility to see that everyone DESERVES a chance at
“Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Happiness”

Pretty hard to do that if you’re broke bc u make squat for wages,
and being stuck in a system designed to keep the majority of the population in debt

It’s not remotely close to being as simple as “work hard kid”

I’m fine with moving pick 32

We don’t know that Ullmark or Luukkonen are gonna be #1 guys
Grubauer looks legit

And if the young guys work out,
well having depth in goal is a good problem to have

- jdfitz77

I am all about going after Grubauer but I wouldn't use pick 32 to do it. With that pick you have a good chance of grabbing a first round talent that slipped out, I would rather trade our 2 4th s or a second/3rd next year. I think if we grab a forward in the first, pick 32 can be used on defense and we can possibly get 2 real good future players/Needs. I just hope we can grab a good goalie like Grubauer without spending pick 32 to do it.

Sounds good...
but i doubt we could get him without pick 32
Maybe if we added a prospect they like,
then we could get away with giving up next year’s 2nd
Or possibly next year’s 2nd & this year’s 3rd

Keep in mind,
we probably won’t be the only team bidding to get Grubauer

True. I believe it basically comes down to if Grubauer will be worth more to the Sabres then the person they could pick at #32. If he is then trade the pick. If they feel he isn't just grab an UFA to split time with Ullmark until he is ready to be our #1 goalie. Maybe a guy like Carter Hutton, if Raanta is gone, he should be able to split time with Ullmark and then in a year or 2 we can see where we are at the goalie position.

People may disagree with me here but I find it funny that no one has a problem with EK skipping out on the Senator's final 3 games. I know he has his reasoning, but he is healthy and if the Sabres were to sit Jack Eichel the last 3 games everyone would be up in arms calling it a tank move and all they want is last place. Last time I checked Ottawa was still in a race for last with the Sabres but it's fine for them to sit their best player, which helps their chances of finishing last. I'm not sure why but it always feels like Canadian teams can get away with anything.
