Couter is best served as the teams third line center. He has proven for years now that he lacks confidence on the pp, that he is injury prone, that he is relatively soft like butter and his big body is just a big body unlike for example a Nick Cousins who played big and played in your face Flyer hockey for a smaller man. Despite saying I hope that maybe a miracle occurs and Couter can show the offence he showed in junior. People forget that the Flyers had a 10 game win streak when he was out and when he came back they lost almost 10 straight. Not saying directly it was his fault but kind of a weird stat. I would much rather have traded him and kept Schenn.

Hey Kingkenzo, wow I remember saying that and this year has proven me wrong. I will man up to saying how wrong I was about him. I actually love him now and just traded Marchessault to get him back in my keeper. To be honest I still worry if this season was a fluke?? I hope he is for real. I also said Hakstol was a bum, well he made a great move by putting 28 on the wing and promoting 14. Hats off to him! and boo to me. Like I said I call it like I see it right or wrong and in this rare situation I was dead wrong for now. My apologies and you do a great job of tracking what people say, you are wonderful

I dont care one way or the other about your opinion on the player. I curb-stomped you for your ridiculous and asinine soft as butter comment. I am glad that you love him now

They all stink! Here our greeters are all either blind, deaf or in a little car because they can't walk. Hats off for hiring the unfortunate but the smell never goes away.

Thank you and my opinion has changed. I hate losing and was a fierce competitor in my day. Losing is not part of my DNA
I just hope we can do some damage in the playoffs, you never know.

He was on Flyer that played hard every night, you have to admit Giroux showed nothing the past two years, great to see him rebound. However I drafted Schenn and love the Flyers so over the years I bought tshirts on ebay, home and away jerseys on ebay and the rest is history. I have about 35 nhl jersey in my closet of my fav players. Oh yes, I have been married for 50 year, lots of grand kids, played hockey and ball but hockey is my passion and Philly is my team.

I did not know that was true, they must have missed several well place elbows every game. I was a big Geffrion fan back then but Gordy was so complete.

If you say so, I have been doing the nhl draft since 1979 and I do not know of any keeper league as a hobby existing for almost 40 years and still going strong. Thank you but I am not Dean.

I believe that frustration sets in and affects a player mentally leading to mistakes and poor play due to physical issues limiting a player. I hope that is what is happening to Simmonds. Otherwise I would agree with you to let him continue to play through it, but I think he needs a reset.

I think Simmonds is a tire fire. He cost us a regulation win against Boston. He has heart but not so much upstairs. He should have been traded instead of Schenn.

Not a bad sixth round selection, I took him in round three that draft year. For the record I took Luke Robitaille in the fourth round, he went in the ninth round and the rest is history.
