I think we're all going to end up in Mordecai's cult somehow. Hell, he already owns (owned) our favorite franchise (well, not PLind's or SSB's) and has promised us lots of anal and church burnings...what more could one ask for in life?
I like career backup on a hot streak Michael Leighton Philip Grubauer, and I think that we should trade Sean Couturier for him so that we win the Cup this year. - jmatchett383

Still laughing about the Blues losing. I hope they lose out and we end up with the 14th pick. Eat a schlong, Brayden.

Wow, it is a team game buddy. Schenn has done his part in ST.Louis and not making the playoffs is not his fault. Schenn has two balls and Couter has one but I still like Couter and the Flyers. I just like to give respect where it is due and Schenner is a heart and soul player. - joegreif17
I like Brayden Schenn and think he was a good player here, but he's not half the player that Couturier is. |

If you had to pick. Choose a scenario.
A). Flyers sneak in playoffs with 96 pts then go on a surprise run. Losing in the ECF in OT in game 6. Blues make the playoffs
B). Panthers beat out flyers for playoffs on a tiebreaker. Blues pick is #14 and the flyers catch incredible luck again landing the #3 overall pick |

A all day. Draft picks are great and all, but this team needs to start taking steps forward. Even if it's a first round loss, the NHL playoff experience for the young guys (Provorov, Konecny, Patrick, Lindblom, etc.) is hard to put a price on.
Now, if you could assure me that they'd get first overall, I might blink on it. |

A. Playoff experience is more valuable to the younger players on this roster, and even Hak. Their prospect pool is still extremely strong, and I'm relatively confident they would hit on at least one of the 1st rounders they'd still have. If they're losing to the Pitt in the ECF on their way to another cup then I probably change my mind |

If they're losing to Pittsburgh in the ECF, it means they've just beaten 2 of Boston, Tampa Bay, and Toronto. If they can do that, then I don't care who wins the Cup this year. |

What is up with his sly stallone speech these days - Landsbergfan
I read either in a Meltzer post or another beat writer article that Simmonds 4 front top teeth were all dead from a puck to the face early this season. He got them all removed while he was out with the wrist injury. I cringed extra hard when he took that high stick and was bleeding from the mouth in his first game back. Had to hurt like hell. |

Ooooo that's tough. Make it to the ECF would be awesome for the kids but adding Zadina/Svechnikov as well as the 14th pick is very tempting. I might have to go with A though, nothing like playoff hockey. |
