we can all see that but even you have to admit this is a drastic change with 1 game to go.

is Hak over thinking it.

Don't see it as a big deal.

One of the pretty goals was the line rush with Lindblom feeding Patrick who set up Simmonds perfectly. If they want to get Simmonds going, could try him there.

And the Jake goes back with G.

Not what I’d do. I love TK with G.

Sometimes the Patrick Voracek Lindblom line gets a little too pass happy. Someone called them the globetrotters a few games ago.

Oh is that why he's playing Lehtera ahead of Weal.
- Feanor

Lethera is a big body and makes sense against the canes, didnt against the Isles.

Raffl has 1 point in his last 17 games. Leave Konecny on the top line. Absurd.

If they miss the playoffs, Hakstol should be gone. These lineup decisions are moronic.

- PLindbergh31

Some here will disagree, but there has to be a legit shot he is gone if they miss. Blowing the 13 point cushion they had at the trade deadline is inexcusable on top of having what should be a Selke winner and Hart finalist is straight embarrassing.

Well Weal has just been lighting it up all season.

He has 21 points and Lehtera has 8.

For the Flyers to make any noise in the playoffs they need to get there first. I understand you want to get Simmonds going, but that has to be second priority to winning this game.
- Fryman4

You assume they cant win with the change. A change from a line up that didnt beat the NYI.

Depends on if Hak willingly matches Flip against the Staal line again lol. So dumb.

Either way it'll be fun watching Flip try to keep up with TK.

- JFlyers00

he'll get caught so far back again tk can spring him for another breakaway

I think you're on to something. We simply need bigger pylons that take longer to skate around.

Biggest thing is getting Elliot back.
I hope he’s truly healthy

I think they will win but Chemistry on a line is important, you get used to the tendencies.

Yeah, good thing the Canes don't have any fast, skilled players who could burn a big, agonizingly slow body like Lehtera the way Barzal did on Tuesday.

Weal has 1 point since then. I don't think that's a huge deal, honestly. I don't like taking TK off the first line, but it's obvious he's trying to balance them out a bit.
- Ftown19125

And Raffl has one point in his last 17 games. Start listing the teams he would play on the top line for in the NHL?

not saying they don't, I posted Laughton needed to be in the line up against the Isles, their man O comes from Brazal and Tavares. Staal is the driver for the Canes and he pushes the Flyers around.

Truth is, not a lot of good choices, Hak is looking FLip, Lethera and Laughton, O BOY

No point getting worked up over line changes:

1. If it’s not working early, he’ll probably just switch em back

2. I’m more concerned about our horrid 3rd D pair playing in front of a rusty goalie
and

3. Hak doesn’t give a (frank) what we think

I agree and I would not take Konecny off of the top line and I prefer Laughton at center over Lehtera. I'm just not going to get all worked up over a few lineup changes and rant and rave about it. They struggled against the worst defensive team in the NHL before the 3rd period in the last game.

I think where they are, with a chance to make the playoffs, is a huge credit to Giroux, mainly.

PK has been awful. Goaltending inconsistent and below average. PP just average. Third D pair and bottom 6 forwards, not so good.

G has pushed them all year.
Bill was right, he should be in top 3 for Hart.
Taylor Hall should win because NJ has been good with maybe less to work with than the Flyers.

The coach has made some line up decisions that are controversial but he has to work with what he’s got.

If you're finding this funny, wait until the Flyers give up another crushing late goal with Hakstol's Heroes on the ice. It will be a regular laugh riot.

I'll give Hak credit, I don't think his job was even a little in danger, doing this and if it fails, those percentages go up a good bit.
