I don't know it at all, but he had been practicing, played in a game, has been practicing since, and isn't listed as injured. I see no reason to pretend he is healthy if he isn't. They didn't do that for Raffl. Ice time suggests he doesn't think Hagg needs to come back into the lineup as much as everyone else thinks he does. So yeah, adding it all up I suspect he is healthy

Catch a bullet buddy! Show a little respect you little punk!
respect is earned not given. what part of you am i supposed to respect?
Hakstol has said he does not like Hagg's chemistry with Gudas. those were his comments. Gudas was ridiculously bad the last game and has been for a good while. that pairing is bad. I'm not a Gudas or manning hater at all but they are BAD. I still can't wrap my head around them getting 20 mins of ice the last game as bad as they were, esp Gudas. I get the right hand shot thing but how can you continue to throw them out there? change it up - nastyflyergirl
Coaches comments should always be taken with a grain of salt. Flyers have not and will not be forthcoming with physical issues. I don't know if that is the case or not, and if Hagg is not hindered physically he should be in the lineup in my opinion. None of that is cause to despise the coach who has done a strong job in developing the young players, and has this team positioned for a playoff spot.

Appreciate your answer, thanks.
I think he should play if healthy, although he has struggled as would be expected of a first year guy. He is an upgrade over Manning but maybe not a huge upgrade.

not super happy with the lineup decisions. weal for laughton is fine but scotty should be center. not a huge fan of saddling tk with flip and simmonds. raffl has produced in the past with G but seems like a weird time to try these lines
I'm finding this whole thread to be absolutely hilarious.
Another thing that amuses me: Several weeks back I snarkily asked the question (after the Flyers had lost a few games in a row) whether or not the Flyers were a borderline playoff team again. Bill took me to task over that... and yet, here we are with two games left in the season, and guess what? The Flyers are a borderline playoff team.
The reasons for this are many and varied, but it is what it is. (I hate that phrase, but sometimes...) - Doc_Sarcasm
Yup. They aren't as good as their 13 point "cushion" and they aren't as bad as their 10-game losing streak.

Under any scenario, I don't mind Hak returning next year. I still am not a fan, and don't believe he is the right coach once the team is a contender, but I think I can keep a relatively open mind for one more year. I think this roster is a lot better than most though, and its not like Hak doesn't have a lot to work with. Go back 3 years and its night and day. No roster is going to be perfect in this salary cap era. Maximizing what you have is on the coach.
Hak has been better this year admittedly. Last year, I would have pegged him as one of the 5 worst coaches in the NHL. This year, he's been about average, but most NHL coaches in general are bad IMO. I won't go into detail with this cause it'll piss off the dinosaurs.
I will be irate if Lappy isn't fired though. Long overdue. - JFlyers00
I think they still have some huge holes in the lineup. I love Gost, but should he be playing top pair minutes ideally? Throughout the D they have guys playing in roles and getting minutes in key situations that shouldn’t be. The PK personnel are scary, after Couts and Provorov, they have a bunch of guys that fail to clear pucks more often than not. Read has been a notable upgrade there. After that, it drops off quickly.

With how he's upped his defensive game this year, I think Ghost absolutely should be getting top minutes.
Konecny has been generating a ton of offense lately, and the top line has Giroux in consideration for the Hart and Couturier for the Selke.
Logical decision: break up the one line that's actually been producing well for us, and hope that they have chemistry when paired on other lines to "spread the wealth."

(frank)ing idiot. - jmatchett383
Last game the Flyers offense exploded with Konecny off of the top line. It would also help if other lines started chipping in some offense. Konecny might possibly be able to help there. Unless you think the Flyers can make a playoff run with one line.
The vitriol for this coach is absurd and the expletive you used should be applied to those sources.
